    Saved My Mom's CAt's Life

    About 7 years ago, my mother's cat, Oscar was diagnosed with diabetes. Vet said he would have to have two insulin shots a day. Or be put down. My mother is elderly and not able to give shots to Oscar who is a very large cat (not fat). Another vet recommended trying Hills Prescription Gluco Support About 7 years ago, my mother's cat, Oscar was diagnosed with diabetes. Vet said he would have to have two insulin shots a day. Or be put down. My mother is elderly and not able to give shots to Oscar who is a very large cat (not fat). Another vet recommended trying Hills Prescription Gluco Support and it made all the difference. It is good for the other cat to help prevent diabetes and they are both still happily eating this life saving food. Oscar lost weight, and goes through a lot of water and litter, but he is still playful and affectionate. … more

    What a nightmare!

    Getting this was a horrible process and not like my previous Chewy experiences at all! First off, I live in WA and Chewy decided that some vet in CO was who I needed authorization from. I sent them my vet's info (it was already on the account). Only after my vet spent 1 hour on the phone with them Getting this was a horrible process and not like my previous Chewy experiences at all! First off, I live in WA and Chewy decided that some vet in CO was who I needed authorization from. I sent them my vet's info (it was already on the account). Only after my vet spent 1 hour on the phone with them, did it get approved. Thankfully, I was able to source a bag from a friend's local vet in the meanwhile. The next time I placed an order for insulin syringes, the same nightmare happened... I decided it wasn't worth it and got the syringes from another source. I get that Chewy is overwhelmed during the Covid-19, but seriously, they had all the correct information from me, so why go chasing in other directions? Very disappointed in what I have come to expect from Chewy. … more
