    Healthy kibble for our Miniature Dachshund

    Our dog's Veterinarian advised that our 11 year old Miniature Dachshund, Gilda, should be on this dry food as she has typical aging Doxie issues: she needs to lose 2 pounds...she has a small degree of arthritis in her front legs and paws and she has had a urinary tract issue for which she also is being Our dog's Veterinarian advised that our 11 year old Miniature Dachshund, Gilda, should be on this dry food as she has typical aging Doxie issues: she needs to lose 2 pounds...she has a small degree of arthritis in her front legs and paws and she has had a urinary tract issue for which she also is being given prescription wet food. She has been showing signs of improvement and has lost half a pound and her walking is showing to be easier for her. The only 'side effect'...she has become a bit 'gassy' which is, at times, a bit unpleasant...but this is okay as she seems to be looking and feeling better these past few weeks! … more

    My 11 year German Shepherd started out loving the food which is great because she needs to slim down eight pounds. That’s a lot for a dog especially a senior one. Well after a week and a half she won’t touch the food. So I spent $80 on food she refuses to eat and food my other two dogs can’t have. So my advice is to buy a small bag of it to make sure your beast will eat it, because the food does really help them loose the weight safely. … more
