Our Dakota is a 12 yo American Bulldog who weighed 111 lbs.; ideal body weight 70 - 75lbs. With arthritis in her back and left elbow, her weight was no friend. Science Diet Metabolic has been key to her weight loss. She now weighs 78.4 lbs. and runs and jumps with ease. We prefer the Pâté over the stew as it seems to be more filling for her. She remains on the diet to obtain her ideal body weight. Our Vet was having a difficult time obtaining the Pâté through his representative so we started using Chewy’s auto shipment. We have been extremely pleased; always arrives on time even though the website indicates they are out of stock. Hill’s Metabolic Chicken Stew has been out of stock for too long so I tried this. Awful to prepare and dog does not like it. This a bad substitute!

You are always out of my dogs food! Not good! Not pleased with Chewy! Get your workers working in it!

I totally ordered the wrong food - but turns out my dog absolutely loves it - so it's now our "new" food!! Thank's Chewy!!!

What a complete waste of a ton of money. She is 15.8 pounds and wasn't even eating enough to maintain the weight of an 8 pound dog. She has been on this food for 4 months. Nothing, zip zero weight lost.

Healthy food the dog enjoys every meal but most important keeps her at a normal weight for her size.

My golden retriever needs to lose some weight and is a picky eater. The vet prescribed this and so far it's a hit.

My Cavalier King Charles is 11 1/2 She has been on Hills metabolic chicken pâté for 5 yrs . She has “ 1 “ Tooth left . So for her , it’s great . Her fur is shining and beautiful , eyes bright and clear . Her tummy likes it She’s still 20 lbs which is perfect for this Breed . I recommend it highly for older dogs ( add a little chicken or beef on top As a treat

Our dog needs to lose a little weight. Our vet put her in this and she loves it. And I love that we can get it shipped right to our door! It saves me so much time!!!

Sadie just loves her food. As a mater of fact she eats it with out stopping. Face in the dish till empty. And she licks it clean.
