Have been ordering from Chewy for around two years. Have always rec'd complete orders, they arrive quickly, and have never had a hiccup that I can think of to write about. Mainly because they give you around a 5 to 7-day notice that you have to review your auto ship scheduled order and ask you "is this actually what you need." If not, you can make a change. My only REQUEST is that they should give you 5% off when ordering more than $50.00/order on all items. This would encourage me and probably others to order more and NOT shop around for cheaper products from someone else! … more

My vet recommends it for Batman. I've used this product but Batman does not lose weight. For one Fat Cat
By renaissancegal on Jan 15, 2021
I finally got the go-ahead to feed one of my fat cats this food in hopes that she will lose weight. She likes the food and eats up her portion by the end of the day.

Cats love the food
By Signingsteph on Jan 11, 2021
I had to switch my cat over to this RX food after she was DX with diabetes. Thankfully she enjoyed this change, and this food is well rounded enough so my other non-diabetic cat can eat the same food.

Hill's prescription weight management
By kdmts1 on Jan 8, 2021
The vet recommended this for our cat who was overweight. So far so good. He really seems to like it. Yes, it is more expensive than regular cat food. I sometimes mix very small amounts of his other food with the Hill's just to stretch it out a little bit. It is more affordable through Chewy so I will continue to buy it here.

My cats are on a diet and their Vet prescribed Hills diet Metabolic. They like it so much, I don’t think they know they are on a diet!

The best one
By Camie on Dec 30, 2020
I have tried several weight control products for cats and Metabolic is the best for results and great taste, BabyBlue told me so because he would not eat it if didn't taste good. My biggest praise, though, is for Chewy's Customer Service. This is a 24/7 hour service and the sales representative was great and help me with all requirements needed to fill this order and then I received the order within a several days. Very satisfied with this whole procedure.

Favorite dry food
By Deaux on Dec 11, 2020
This food is the new favorite for dry food! Even the other cat clawed through the bag because he decided it's the food he wanted... even though he isn't on a diet.

Metabolic Weight Management
By Roberta on Dec 10, 2020
My vet recommended this for my feline companion to assist her in loosing weight. She is a sweet thing, but isn't very playful or motivated to move; so this food was perfect. She initially hesitated with eating it (she does't like change), but then she's had no complaints! She was overweight when I adopted her, but is now down almost 5 pounds to a healthy weight. She went from sleeping all day to happily climbing up and down the cat tree. She also explores the house more now and it appears that she is more comfortable moving around. My other cat is on the same food (vet approved to making feeding them easier) and they get half of the approved amount twice a day (breakfast and dinner). They've been on this for years and I did notice a few years ago when I tried to transition them off the metabolic prescription to a regular over the counter Hills Science Diet Food that their fur coats lost their silkiness and they tended to throw up more. Back to this food we went and within 2 weeks, their fur was soft and silky again just like I was used to. We're now transitioning to another prescription food to help with her IBD, but metabolic was great for years. … more
