Our cat has issues with struvite crystals so our vet recommended this food to help dissolve them and it absolutely works. Shape of kibble
By Judy on Apr 10, 2021
If your cat has had a few teeth removed, I do not recommend this kibble. Too small and round. Flatter kibble easier to chew. I wish I'd seen shape.

THIS PRESCRIPTION DIET WORKED
By KCGIZMO on Apr 9, 2021
Veterinary clinic prescribed this dry cat food because my cat was diagnosed with crystals in his urine. He's been on this diet for about a month now, but noticed he was back to normal within a week. He seems to really like it too!

Prescription diet for my cat
By Katz on Mar 19, 2021
My vet was out of stock on this item. Thankfully I could get it from Chewy. My cat has been on this food for many years, along with the cd formula. She is doing very well. Thank you Chewy!

Working good, not 100% yet
By UTICatOwner on Feb 28, 2021
The Hill's Prescription Diet s/d Urinary Care Chicken Flavor Dry Cat Food seems to be helping my cat, Baby. He seems to be peeing less outside of his litter box and he seems more comfortable. However, he is still not peeing much (only a little increase in amount) and still going pretty often.

Best for urinary issues
By Calliemama on Jan 28, 2021
My sweet old-man cat, Bob developed urinary issues several years ago. Our vet prescribed this food and he has been feeling much better ever since. Before we discovered what was wrong, he had to have two surgeries. So thankful for this prescription food to keep him well.

My cat won't eat it.
By Sundance on Jan 6, 2021
When I opened the bag and grabbed a handful, the food felt sticky, as if the inside of the bag had gotten damp. It was like grabbing a handful of food with wet hands; it stuck to my hands and I had to brush it off. I don't know if there was a problem with this bag or it it's just like that. And my cat won't touch it. This might be a great food for cats, but the weirdness of the feel of it coupled with my cat's refusal to eat it means it's just not the food for us.

Fantastic!
By MaxAMinionsMom on Dec 29, 2020
After we found out that our kitty had a large struvite stone in his kidney, our Dr. prescribed this food. It worked AMAZINGLY well. At the 2 week follow up his stone was barely there, and his pain was gone. Highly recommend!!
