Cat couldn't keep it down

This was little phosphorus and I have a soon to be 20 year old that's been slowly losing weight. I was so hoping she'd want to graze on this while I was at work. But I think she's been so used to grain-free that her stomach can't tolerate all the filler. No sooner does she wolf this down that it comes right back up again. Oh well. Doctors Elsey's clean protein dry cat food does work for her so I will just stick with that. It wouldn't necessarily not recommend this food to anybody, there's a lot of good reviews on this food. It just wasn't working for my cat.

Wish it came in larger bags

My multiple-cat household easily transitioned to this food - no issues at all. They really like it. I wish it came in bigger bags because we run through it too quickly so I've begun mixing it with other food. This food is also quite expensive. It makes me sad that the pet food industry is making the cost of pet food prohibitive for a lot of families. So, the cost and the small bag is why I gave it 4 stars.

Terrific Food!!

My 14 year old cat had no problem transitioning to this new food. I have nothing bad to say about this food. Someone said it smells bad. It doesn’t!! He loves it, so therefore, so do I and Chewy.com came through with the next day delivery!!! Win Win!!!

Excellent product

Hill's 11+ was recomended to me as the best non-prescription low phosphorus product available. I'm very happy with the results. Since he started eating ii in combination with canned Stella & Chewy Chick Chick Chicken, my 17 year old has perked up considerably.

Our cat doesn't seem to like it

This is not a criticism of Chewy. The customer service at Chewy is some of the best I have ever received, but our cat does not seem to like this food. He usually likes eating most everything, so I am wondering if there is an alternative for a senior (14 year old) male cat.

GAME CHANGER

I have 2 old boys 16 & 17 , another 6 year old fat boy, and a 8 year old girl . They are all on wet food for 7+ 3 times a day in small portions , plus open bowl of the Science Diet hairball/ urinary track control food for my girl who hates wet food . I had trouble with fat boy over eating the dry and the 16 yr old couldn’t digest the large pieces . The 17 yrs old couldn’t chew it anymore so avoided the bowl altogether . I was dealing with throw up , cats crying Everyday … until NOW! What a game changer !! Science Diet 11+ has Small, tiny pieces and is HIGHLY digestible , totally made for old , OLD cats . No more throw up (other than for a rare hairball. ) At first they wanted no part of the new food. Over a week it became the only hard food out to eat. Now I have a house of Happy cats, Life is so much calmer and quiet. The difference is dramatic … I still have the Urinary tract food out hidden for my girl where the old boys can’t climb the steps . Life is good for everyone . Thank you for this great product !
