    Prince George Approves!

    By on

My 7-year-old shorthair mix is a rather picky eater when it comes to dry cat food, and he tires of a certain brand and/or flavor quickly. I've been trying to get him to eat more dry food than wet lately, although he prefers wet, since I'm worried about keeping his teeth healthy and clean. He seems to prefer dry food that has more meat and less grain, and he's a big fan of chicken. He also seems to like the brands with small, uniformly-shaped pieces. This Hill's Science Diet Senior formula with Chicken & Brown Rice fits the bill in every regard. The kibble is nicely sized and shaped, making it easier for George to chew. It also smells good out of the package, and I think it must taste good My 7-year-old shorthair mix is a rather picky eater when it comes to dry cat food, and he tires of a certain brand and/or flavor quickly. Finally, the more-meat formula (I believe) is better for him than brands that are heavy on grains. Overall, I highly recommend. … more

    Cats loved it

    By on

I want to start by saying I have two cats that are not picky at all. They will eat pretty much any dry food, though there are one or two they don't prefer. They really liked this food though. Both of them are grazers and will eat a little and re-visit their bowls throughout the day but with this food, both bowls were completely empty within 1-2 hours. I did receive this in exchange for my honest review but would definitely consider buying it, though I usually go for a higher protein kibble for my cats.

Seems to be tasty food to the cats

    By on

I received a free bag of this food for my honest review. My cats seemed to like this food very well. They would empty the bowl each day I would put out for them. However, after 5 days I had to go back to their gentle care food as they seemed to all (3 of them) be vomiting more than usual. They are 12+ years old so apparently the change was too much for their sensitive stomachs. I think otherwise it would have been fine. We are giving the remainder to our outside cats and they are doing well with it.

Nutritious food my cat really likes

    By on

My cat is a picky eater who doesn't like changes in her food. The HILL'S SCIENCE DIET ADULT 7+ NO CORN, WHEAT, SOY DRY CAT FOOD I received in exchange for an honest review passed her taste test. She ate it readily and really seemed to enjoy it. I liked the nutritional value the Hill's Science Diet offers, particularly the low levels of sodium and phosphorus. It's good for my senior cat, and she likes it. As far as I'm concerned that makes it a big win - win!

Hills Science Diet dry cat food

    By on

I received a free bag of cat food for my cats to try; I am giving a critique of my observations. First, let me say that my cats are picky eaters. They have eaten a lot of dry cat food in their 10-year lives, but had never tried Hills. They do eat this, but not much at a time and not with the gusto of the other dry cat foods. I like the idea of this cat food, but am not sure my cats would eat enough for me to purchase it exclusively.

    Older cat LOVES this food

    By on

My older female cat devoured this food. She just swallowed it whole rather than chewing it. Afterwards, she had an incredible amount of energy that I have not seen since she was younger. She went "zoomy" every time she would eat this food. My daughter pointed out to me that the bag says "supports energy level", and we could not believe it. I am planning on switching over to this food permanently!

    Picky cat that loves this

    By on

Our new rescue has had a real tough go of life in his 5 short years and then we found out that he had some dietary restrictions and apparently many of those grain free options just don't taste good to him...he just scarfed up this Chicken & Brown Rice. Due to the rougher than normal early life I feel he was a candidate for the older aged foods, might make things a little easier on his sensitive system.

    Seems like a good buy

    By on

I received a free sample of Hill’s Science Diet Adult cat food in return for my honest review. My cat is 14 and while she liked the food, I unfortunately did not see a difference in her energy level. The kibble is a little larger than the previous food she is used to and it seemed to take her a few days to adjust but overall my cat seems to enjoy it.

    Good but not great

    By on

I received a free bag of this food for my honest review. my cat has a sensitive stomach and is not allowed to have any gluten or wheat. So we have not fully switched over to this food yet but I've not seen any significant changes in puking since adding this to her diet I do see her other food going away faster than this as she picks around it

    Just okay!

    By on

I have three cats, they all eat the food, but they don't eat it as fast as the other stuff I've been using. The cat food itself is just round tiny discs, so I've noticed that sometimes the cats don't even chew it. I like that there is no fillers in it and it's targeted for older cats.
