Cats said no.
By hausofmeow on Feb 16, 2021 Top 1000 Contributor
1 of my 3 cats recently passed away so I am transitioning the remaining 2 off of his prescription (k/d) food. I thought for sure they would like this no corn/wheat/soy formula as they frequently try to steal the kitten version that I feed our fosters. Unfortunately that is not the case. 1 of the 2 took a sniff and walked away. The other seems to dislike the shape of the kibble more than the taste, but she ultimately stopped eating it within 2 days. While this was waste of money for us, I'd recommend trying it before the original formulas (the ingredients list is significantly improved).

Cat liked it

My cat did really well with Hill's Science Diet Adult 7+ Chicken & Brown Rice Recipe Dry Cat Food. I received a 3.5-lb bag in exchange for my honest review. My cat is 11 years old and is very particular about her food. I've been wanting to try a food for her that is designed especially for older cats. I knew she would be annoyed, but I slowly incorporated this food into her diet and was pleasantly surprised by how well she adjusted. She seems to really enjoy it. I haven't noticed any negative reactions or side effects. I also am absolutely in love with the resealable bag! I've never had a dry pet food come in a resealable bag before and it's amazing! My cats favorite dry food!
By 1marriedlady on Feb 11, 2021
My cat Max is 9 years old as of 2021. He is our baby and a picky eater. My cat enjoys the taste and the circular shape and size of the bits in f food. Oh and we absolutely love the fact that the bag is resealable to help keep the food fresh.

My cat enjoyed it
By ElleC on Dec 30, 2020
I received this product in exchange for an honest review. My 10 year old cat isn’t a picky eater so he handles food changes without a fuss. However I can tell when he really enjoys his food. The kid is a manageable size and he seems to get fuller on a smaller portion. I really like the design of the package and how it’s easier to keep the food fresh with a zipper lock instead of the traditional press and seal.

Senior kitties love this!
By Rufkutdiamnd on Jan 19, 2021
OMG the senior cats at my small sanctuary love this food! Everyone is between 7-18 and getting them away from corn based kibble was important as a few are overweight. The kibble size could be like their 11+ corn based but still small enough for the ones missing teeth.

I am still angry at Hills on my previous purchases prior to ordering this bag. Everyone knows cats cannot process corn. I blame myself for letting that get past me. I have Casper on this current bag. He likes it but don't know if I will reorder cuz I can't trust them to do the right thing.

Adult 7+ Chicken & Brown Rice Recipe
By Nanda62 on Dec 28, 2020
My cat liked the texture and the taste of Hill's Science Diet Adult 7+ Chicken & Brown Rice Recipe. He is really picky at trying out a new food. I like that it helps support energy level and good for the immune system, heart and kidney health. It is convenient that the bag has a Velcro seal to keep the food fresh. I received this in exchange of my honest review .

Grain free
By Ambergrr on Dec 28, 2020
My seniors are 15 and 16 so I prefer to feed them wet food. But they do get kibble on my long work days. They had no problem with this formula. I mixed it slowly with their usual kibble. The pieces are slightly bigger than other senior formulas I have seen. Might be an issue if your senior has mouth or teeth problems. I received this food in exchange for my review.

Didn't agree with my cat's stomach
By Bdub on Dec 5, 2020
I received this product in exchange for an honest review. My cat ate it but not with any enthusiasm. After a week or so, she begin vomiting it up. So, I definitely would not buy it again for my cat. I do like that this food doesn't contain wheat, soy, or corn. I also really like the resealable bag. It has a velcro-like seal that is soundless when opening. All in all, if this cat food agrees with your cat's stomach, you could try it, but I feel like you can get a moderately comparable cat food for a cheaper price.

My cats loved it
By Chelle on Dec 28, 2020
I received a free bag of this food. My cats loved it! I gave it to them as a treat at first and they couldn't getbit fast enough. Then I introduced it to them by mixing it in their normal food. They would pick through and pick out this chicken and brown rice pieces before eating their normal food.
