Hill's Science Diet Adult Indoor Chicken Recipe Dry Cat Food

I’m sad my cat binx didn’t like it and I didn’t even open the bag but What had happened was it was to late to cancel the order but I noticed a friend of mine had that cat food and I asked her if I could have a scoop to take home to binx well I gave it to him and I seen him go to it but not eating it I kept it in his bowl all day till night so I ordered a different cat food. Shoes Gives This an A+

Shoes (just shy of 11 months) has decided she only wants dry food and wanted to graduate from the Hills kitten food. So we tried this and she gives it an A++! I mix in some Instinct salmon kibble (from her brother Shadow) and she likes a little bit of that too but not as a full meal. While I transferring her over to the adult food and mixing in the Hill's kitten food, she left the kitten food in her dish. She said, "Mom! I'm all grown up! No more kitten food for me!" :)

Cats are throwing this food up, bigger kibble size

I don’t know why they changed this but the kibble size is huge. I want to say 50% larger than pieces in the past. Both of my cats like the taste, but one of my cats throws this food up a lot. He also has hairballs mixed in with his throw up from time to time. The kibble size is so huge that my smaller cat struggles to eat the pieces. She will bite it and spit smaller pieces out. I’m going to be transitioning off this food because I feel bad that both of my cats are now struggling to eat and digest this.

cats love this dry food

My 2 indoor cats love this food! I had to stop for a while due to price but this is a million times better than the lower end brands. The little box is not strong smelling as well as my one cat has little to no vomiting with this. One of them did not like the wet pouched food at all HES a bit bougie lol the other will eat ANY type of cat food & dog food if I let him smh. So beware even tho they love this dry food your cat may not like the wet pouches!

Hill's Science Diet

This is the only dry cat food that Cato will eat. He is persnickety about his meals and this one seems to be the best for him and his health. I like having it shipped to the house so I don't have to lift it multiple times getting it from the store to the house.

Large Kibble

My cats have been eating this type of food for the past 4 years and at some point I am confident the kibble was adjusted to a slightly larger size. My cats are only 5, they love the food, but frequently they will vomit from eating too fast. My cats are dumb, you cannot explain to them why they need to slow down and chew properly. I may need to look into alternative formulas to appease their eating habits. I am yet to try elevating their food bowl, but I am hopeful that can solve my problem.

Kibble pieces are too large

This formula did not agree with our cat. He vomited it up many times. My husband had to go to a pet store to get advice of what brand would work. Luckily, we found something that works.

Regret this choice

I was looking for a food that would help with hairballs for my indoor Maine Coon, but she has thrown up more of this food than hairballs. Yes, I’ve followed the directions for switching food, but I can tell you that she hates this food. The kibble is very large (even for a large cat) and I guess she doesn’t like the taste. I purchased the large bag so unfortunately we’re stuck with this for awhile.

Not worth the price

My cats did not like this kibble at all. In fact, I didn't like this kibble at all either! It has huge kibble, not bite sized for cats. It's a weird yellow brown color that looks unnatural and made their poop yellow and runny. And the chewy autoship option is a rip off to take advantage of you and take your money when you aren't expecting it. I will never order from chewy again.

kibble is strangely massive

i buy this brand for my cats all the time and have had no problems! recently decided to try this formula, noticed when it arrived the kibble pieces are huge for a cat. it genuinely looks like the size of what i feed my 80lb golden retriever if not bigger. its such a difference from this same brands other cat foods, no clue why that is. my cats will eat it, but i can tell they arent huge fans.
