Approximately how many cups of food are in the 7lb bag?

There will be approximately 4 cups per pound of kibble. The 3.5 pound bag will have close to 14 cups, the 7 pound bag close to 28 cups.
Is it the size of the kibble that helps remove plaque by crunching or is there a component in the formula that helps remove the plaque? If so, please tell how it works. Thank you
