One of our cats began vomiting once or twice a week. Over time the occurrence of vomiting increased. Both cats were on Purina Sensitive Stomach dry food. When vomiting with this cat increased to every other day, I decided to switch food before getting medical tests done. Ever since we bought this food, slowly switching from the former food over a week, the vomiting has only happened three times.
I have three cats; an 11 year old & two 2 year olds. My older bb vomits very easily when it comes to food. After trying different brands this one came out on top. He doesn’t vomit as much anymore and all of my cats like it. Even my picky eater loves this food. 10/10 recommend. I have it on auto-ship so they never run out.
I purchased this food for a newly-adopted, adult cat who was vomiting. The vomiting stopped immediately. A few weeks later, I was marveling at how soft and nice her fur had become. I looked at the bag and saw the words sensitive skin. I later tried a food that I was given and she immediately vomited it. If your cat has either stomach or losing or poor fur problems, I would try this food.
The kibble is dark brown and about the size of a dried lentil..our cat will Not eat this particular science diet food plain or mixed in with her old food..disappointed as she needs something for sensitive stomach.
This food has seriously changed the game for my cat. She used to throw up any dry food we would give her and wet food occasionally due to her sensitive tummy. I ordered this and her puking stopped the day she started eating it. We have only seen an occasional hair ball which is to be expected. Thank you Hill’s Science!!!!
I decided to purchase this food for our kitties. Some but not all were have digestive issues. This food is amazing. The cats love it, digestive problems are gone! Pricey but so worth getting for my fur kids! It does work and help.
We run a rescue and we were having a serious issue with vomiting on our previous cat food. So we changed to a science diet original. The vomiting completely stopped. It was great. However with new intacts we starting having some urinary issues. We changed to the urinary support and it has helped definitely cut down on the amouny of issues. I would recommend this food for your cats. It has definitely helped all of ours.
With corn gluten and ordinaand corn in this product why waste your money .. cheap ingredients that result in weight gain and poor gut health .. buy a better grain free brand like Farmina
Cat Mom of 5 crazy rescue babies here! This is long but I have to brag about my babies! Yes I have real kids too, but my fur babies like me more I think! For being little street cats, (we literally rescued one of them from the middle of a dirt road) Our Little Munchie. She was just a kitten she walked out in front my husband truck (he is a Fedex driver) he stopped got out, she rubbed all over his leg, he sent me a video, brought her home, and now she is the fattest cat in the house. She hasn't stopped thanking my husband with her rubs and snuggles and kisses since he brought her home a year ago. All of our rescue girls have sure have turned into some bougie little ladies who are very sassy and snobby about their delicacies. :) We have had new kittens coming in for the last three years so I have kept them all of dry kitten food until recently. They are all small little ladies and eat mostly wet food. I switched to Science Diet Sensitive Stomach dry food about a month ago. My oldest lady (Lala), the queen bee has terrible stomach issues. She crop dusts us constantly and makes you wish you had a gas mask anytime she comes and sits on you. You dare not hug her or pet her with too much force, she will test your gag reflexes. My second rescue (Bad Beanie) she is the troublemaker and the one getting yelled at the most for her naughty ways. The entire neighborhood knows her name when the windows are open. She has an autoimmune issue that cause her to get rodent ulcers frequently. When I read that this builds the immune system I was sold. This paired with her regular treatments I am hoping it will kick her issues into remission or at least slow them down. The shots she has to get can cause long term effects on her kidneys and I need my girl around as long as possible. She makes me laugh the most. When I first poured them a bowl of you would of thought I poured them a bowl of freshly cooked crab legs dipped in butter. They all swarmed the bowl and ate it like they had never seen food before. Even my tiny 5 pounder (TeeTee) dove in head first. She is my three legged wonder who we almost lost to a deadly bone infection when she only 12 weeks old and only 2 pounds. Tiny and tough and absolutely refuses all dry food, she is far too sophisticated to eat kibble with the commoners. My final baby Poe prefers dry food she is my least picky eater and the lover of the house, she will try to take you out on the stairs but only because she wants you to carry her everywhere and to drench you with her drool. She gets all drippy then shakes her head and you get what we call "the sprinkler" all over your face, hair, clothes. Pretty much anything within a 3-4 foot perimeter is soaked. I was worried about spending so much on a bag they wouldn't eat but figured we could just donate it to a local rescue if they were too good for it. am looking forward to see how they do on it in the next 3-6 months as far as their health and gastro issues. So far I am happy with our purchase and my babies love it and I will definitely be buying it again. I am also going to look into their canned version as well.
As always Chewys comes through! They make getting the right food easy! They save me time and money and my house mates never miss a meal
