What is the difference between this and the “science diet indoor kitten” dry food??

The Hill's Science Diet Indoor Kitten Dry Cat Food (item 52723) is formulated specifically for cats who will spend most, if not all of their time indoors. It contains prebiotic fibers for a tidier litter box. While the Hill's Science Diet Kitten Chicken Recipe Dry Cat Food (item 48927) is designed for both indoor and outdoor kittens.
Is it ok for an adult cat to eat the kitten formula? She prefers it because of the smaller size.

It is generally not recommended to feed kitten food to an adult since kitten food tends to be higher in calories, protein and fat.
At what age should I stop feeding my kitten this?

Kittens should be fed a growth-formulated diet until they are at least 90 percent of their adult weight. In general, kittens reach this milestone at about 10 to 12 months of age. The exception is for larger breed cats.
