I opted for this brand because we'd seen such a dramatic improvement in my older adult cat when he started eating this. We feed it to our three kittens (7, 9, and 4 months) and they have all grown so healthy and pretty. They're curious, playful, affectionate and calm. It's expensive but I feel like there are fewer fillers. The cats have access to feed freely and they don't eat as much as one might expect. A big bag lasts us a month or so. Their stools are regular and firm too.
We switched from blue buffalo to this because the high protein content was making his poop extra stinky but it seems he somewhat likes this one. I will say my cat enjoyed blue buffalo much more but we tried switching to another brand and he absolutely refused to eat that one for days so this is a good happy medium.
My newly adopted six month old kittens will not eat unless I add another brand It is very small morsels but apparently they do not like the flavor I am a fan of Hills is why we tried it
Long time fan of Hill's products and my kitten loves this food. However, when I opened the box, I found that the bag was completely open, spilling its contents into the box. My kitten was overjoyed at this bounty. Me, less so. While my faithful sidekick was happy to be on clean up duty, I'm disappointed by this. Why isn't the bag sealed prior to shipment?
I buy this for our kitten and for our foster kittens. The shelter would provide it for the fosters but we have a 17 month old cat (that we had fostered and then adopted) that loves it and steals it from our kitten so I go ahead and buy it so I don't feel guilty for feeding to our big goofball. I see the Hill's truck delivering to our SPCA frequently when I am there and truly believe this is a terrific product. If they believe in it- so do I.
Our 7-month loves Hill's Science Diet kitten food. She prefers this, and the Hill's indoor kitten dry, over any other dry or wet food we tried when she was younger. She is the picture of health, and Hills has helped her become healthy and strong (after being the smallest in the litter).
This is the only dry food my nearly 5 mo old kitten has had and he still loves it. Good ingredients. Good brand.
Our 7 month, adopted rescue easily wolfs this food down, especially when he first gets up after not eating all night. We feed him canned Science Diet Kitten, several times a day, but we like to use this dry version for keeping his teeth clean.
My kittens were not eating their dry cat food. The vet said to try this. They both like it a lot!
Our local cat shelter feeds their kittens this kitten food. When I get foster kitties, I continue to feed them this. The large bag is so economical especially if you have several kitties. They love it!!!
