We currently rotate this and the HSD turkey entree for our kitten. She absolutely loves it, licks the bowl clean. Her vet says she is growing at a healthy rate and was pleased to see we are offering HSD. Kittens love it; great alternative to Savory Salmon
By sjus on Feb 23, 2021
We've used Science Diet for years with our foster kittens, and now for our forever friends, and they love it. We used to give them Savory Salmon exclusively, but that variety seems no longer to be found anywhere, so we had to make the switch. Our kittens seem to gobble this up just as readily.

Great kitten food

This was my cat's favorite food when she was a kitten. She loves the liver flavor and it was consistent in texture. The only one she gobbles up her serving in one sitting.

case crushed

This food is fine, but the cardboard outer box wasn't taped properly. The case was torn and flattened. I was concerned that the cans would have been damaged, but they survived.

Kitten likes it a lot!
By nomnomi on Jan 11, 2021
I don't think my kitten is a picky eater but he seems to like this one quite a bit! I alternate between this and the Savory Salmon Entree version of this brand for kittens and he happily gobbles up both! Admittedly, this is a bit hard for me to compare exactly how MUCH he likes this because I adopted him from the shelter who fed their kitties Hill's Science Diet but I've noticed that he seems to prefer this over the Royal Canin Mother & Babycat Wet Canned Food. In my opinion, this one has a stronger "meatier" smell (probably because of the liver) than the Salmon one and his poop ends up smelling like a very pungent version of this food; I've heard that non-raw diets result in smellier excrements I don't think my kitten is a picky eater but he seems to like this one quite a bit! My kitty likes this so far though and he's growing at a furious pace (he has nice soft fur and is very alert and playful) so I can guess that this food is helping him grow quite healthy :) … more
