All Hill's Science Diet recipes are manufactured in Hill's USA facilities. Hill's sources their raw materials from countries where there are reliable safety procedures in place, primarily in the United States, Japan, Canada, New Zealand, Australia and several European countries.
Does this food contain DHA for cognitive development?

Approximately how many cups of food are there in the 30lb bag?

There will be approximately 4 cups of kibble per pound. The 15.5 pound bag will have close to 62 cups and the 30 pound bag close to 120 cups.

Never switching from this Brand

This brand is worth every Penny! I made the mistake of switching to another brand in hopes to try to save some money. My dog clearly prefers this brand. No hesitation to eat and he seems like he is in overall good health. I have no intention on ever switching brands again. My dog's health and happiness means more to me than pinching pennies

Over price junk

This food is over priced and literally junk ingredients it’s hype because the vets recommended it only because they support shelters and vets that being said that’s great they do but ingredients are terrible it’s such a shame what quality this dog food is please use your brain and do you research before giving this to your puppy/dog.

Great Quality

The food is awesome. I feed all 3 of my dogs this brand. I will be switching my 14 month old over to the adult version once she’s 18 months. But my 2 puppies absolutely love it. They have grown so much and the vet loves how big and proportioned they are. Gives them lots of energy during the day. Just wish it wasn’t so expensive. I go through at least two 30lb bags a month.

What is best for my friend.

I have had numerous Akitas in my lifetime and have been through the gambit of dog food available. I started my new Akita puppy on Hill large puppy dry food. I never had my Akitas grow like he is doing. And no itching! He is healthy, bright eyed and full of energy.

Great stuff

Our puppies love it. They are growing fast. They are full of energy. We was feeding them a different brand that was grain free and they were losing wait and seem to had no energy. The vet told us to switch to this. What a great deference.

I have never tried this food before but if it keep my new baby for having issues when he is older then I guess he will get it. Wish it was some what cheaper

Food is okay-Too expensive for what it is

I was recommended by my vet to switch my, at the time, 5 month old German Shepard to this due to him having really soft stools. He had been on this food for over two months, and the consistency of his stools remained the same. It also made his breath smell horrendous! I thought he had a rotten tooth, but after reading other reviews, it turned out to be the food. I’m not impressed with this brand at all, and for the price, I was expecting a little better quality. I have found that Natural Balance L.I.D. Formula (Duck and Potato) is the perfect fit for my boy. His stools have firmed up and he absolutely devours it! I think the trick was to get him off of processed chicken! Also, Chewy customer service gets 5 out of 5 stars! What a great company!

I trust Science Diet and our current Boxer does well on it

Large breed puppies grow fast! To avoid problems down the road I am happy to use Hill's Science Diet large breed puppy food for our young Boxer. This food has not given our Boxer the bad smelling gas that other foods can. That is a huge plus for our household!

Double Doodle Loves

My vet recommended this food for our standard double doodle puppy. He absolutely loves it. We also recently had to take our older cat to the vet (a different vet than the dog) and they recommended Hills Science for the cat as well.

Product good, driver bad

The product is excellent, quickness of delivery was also excellent. However, the driver ran off of the driveway and dug a huge rut in the grass.
