What is barely
Answer by Chewy • Aug 19, 2021
Barley is a cereal grain used as a natural source of carbohydrates to give your pet healthy energy. It is also a nutrient-dense source of fiber for healthy digestion and a source of protein for strong muscles.

Does this need to be refrigerated?
Answer by Chewy • Oct 08, 2020
Prior to opening, store cans in a place where the temperature is between 50-100°F. Do not freeze canned cat or dog food as it can change the texture and taste of the food. Your pet’s bowl should be emptied of moist or canned food not eaten by your cat or dog within 4 hours if the ambient temperature is above 50°F. Opened cans should be stored in the fridge, at temperatures between 40-45°F, for a maximum of 5-7 days. Any cat or dog food remaining after that time should be thrown out.

How many cans come with this?
Answer by Chewy • Oct 08, 2020
This variety is sold as a case of 24 cans, with each can weighing 5.8 ounces.

Picky Puppy

My chi mix puppy ate this for a month & then decided she didn't like it anymore. I think the food is probably fine for most dogs; but she is a very picky pup about her food.

very disappointed

Neither of my two cockapoos liked this dog food. They will not eat it at all. I tried boiling chicken breast to mix in but that did not help.

I love my soft food

My puppy started eating Hill Science at 17 weeks. He's now a year old, and loves mixed with dry.. I haven't had one problem with his digestive system.

Science Diet puppy food

Was very easy for the puppies to start on. They are Boston Terrier pups with a flat face. This was very easy for them to eat. They also loved the flavor so ate with no problems

Puppies love it

Our puppies prefer this canned food over everything else. We mix some dry with it and they can't get enough of it.

My Puppy Loves It

My puppy is 4 months old and is teething. This chicken and barley crumbles easily - I kind of chop it with a fork or spoon and my puppy loves it, and so does my picky 15 year old yorkie who only has 12 teeth. It's sometimes hard to get my yorkie to eat, so if he likes it, he can eat it too. My vet said food with grains are better than grain free. I'm ordering another case.
