Description

Himalayan Dog Chew is known for making innovative treats from Himalayan hard cheese, and their Yaky Churro Himalayan Cheese Dog Treats provide a uniquely delicious example. These authentic treats are made in the USA, but they follow an ancient recipe that converts milk into hard cheese using the same methods and techniques perfected by the people of the Himalayas. A dash of salt and splash of lime are added, and the cheese is sundried, smoked and made into a chewy churro stick. The result is a smoky cheese-flavored treat with a softer texture that’s easier for all dogs to chew, even puppies and seniors.

Key Benefits

  • Himalayan cheese churro with cheese flavor
  • No lactose, grains or gluten
  • Softer texture that’s easier for all dogs to chew, even puppies and seniors
  • Has natural enzymes that help remove plaque from your dog's teeth
  • The unique shape of yakyCHURRO gets to those hard to reach places between teeth

  • How fast do you eat a Churro?

    By on

I thought these would last a bit longer, it only took 5 minutes for my pup to devour them--BUT then I thought, how fast I eat churros and then I couldn't blame her for going through them so fast! (Also they have a strong cheesy smell that my dogs go nuts for!) So don't expect these to last long for your heavy chewers or your 5 1/2 teething Collie that would eat your couch if given a chance. I will say, I gave one of these to my 14 year old Brittany and he loved it! It was soft enough that he could enjoy it and clean his remaining teeth-- Up until the puppy stole it from him and devoured it right in front of him. Poor guy, maybe next time.

  • Great alternative from Yak Sticks!

    By on

My dogs loved the first yak sticks I bought them, so I tried these on a later order. They like these even better! I wouldn't exactly call them "crunchy", but they do seem easier to break through and last a good bit.

  • Himalayan dog chew was a huge hit

    By on

Got these for my 12 yr old pit bull's birthday. She can't chew as well as she use to,but had no trouble chewing these. She and her younger "brothers" loved the taste. I will be ordering them again!

  • My dogs love them

    By on

I have a Lab and a MinPin and both dogs love these. They are softer than the regular Himalayan cheese treats, so they don't last as long. But they are great as a quick treat.

  • Greatest snack ever!

    By on

Our three dogs love these snacks, even our six month old puppy. They are long lasting and I don't need to worry about small pieces getting lodged in their throats.

  • Its my favorite!

    By on

I love this sooooo much, but it has too many calories, so my mommy doesn't let me have them very often. I'm working on my summer body.

  • Not a hit with the pups

    By on

Our dogs love himalayan cheese hard treats but they did not want to eat these 'churros' they were very soft compared to the hard treats we normally got. We have 3 dogs and 8 hours later there were still 3 treats on the floor where we originally gave them. We finally got our oldest boy to eat one once we broke it up into 2" pieces. (He is a boarder collie) which is why I am not giving them just 1 star

  • My Senior Scottie Loves These

    By on

Regular Himalayan chews are far too hard for my senior Scottish Terrier, but these chews are the perfect texture! They last her a good long time and she seems to absolutely love them. They are soft enough for her to be able to chew them, but hard enough that they can occupy and help to clean teeth. They don't smell badly and they are not messy at all. Would definitely recommend and buy again!

  • The GSD's love them!

    By on Top 1000 Contributor

My two GSD's love these. They aren't quite as impressed with the regular chews from this brand but these they loved!
