Great for my Rescue Farm Animals Blind cow Pepper, six sheep and two goats
This Himalayan Rock Salt Block has been a big hit with all my farm animals. My rescue blind cow Pepper and six sheep and 2 goats love it. I like it because I know this helps them with minerals they need to keep them healthy. I bought the big block I will buy again and highly recommend.
Horses Love It
Large block lasts my 2 elderly horses a long time and is necessary for their health.
Horse really likes these!
I bought this for use in my horses pasture. He’s turned out 24/7 and the block goes in a rubber feed pan. He always dumps it out and plays with the pan and the block has remained solid and formed after storms and being on the ground most of the time. I will continue to buy this brand for that reason!
Was skeptical
I had been looking at the 22 pound block but was skeptical based on some reviews. Bought it on sale to give a try. My main concern was how it would hold up in rain, as the ones on a rope dissolve really fast. I had the block out when we had torrential downpours that caused localized flooding. This block held up! I keep it on the ground, not in any holders. I don't know that I'd pay the $40 that it normally cost, but maybe, since it does seem to hold up well. And the critters (ponies & bull) have chewed the corners, so it must taste ok.
Disappointed
I am rarely disappointed with a Chewy purchase, but this salt block was broken into several pieces and crumbled easily. I only gave it 2 stars because the horses seemed to like it. Will not be ordering this again!
Not fantastic
Too fragile. Both that I ordered were cracked upon arrival. My horses do seem to like it ok but it's worth the extra dollar or two to get the real thing.
Good Salt Block
My 2 pony's like this Himalayan Secret. It lasts longer then other red blocks I had gotten in past. Pony's like it.
Horses like it
My horses enjoy these blocks as a change from the other salt and mineral blocks.
Decent product
Horses seem to like it just fine. The only reason I gave it one less star is the price. Should probably be in the $5-$7 range.
