Good kibble for my pup!
I really like this kibble. I have gone through a lot of brands trying to find what’s best for my girl and so far so good on this one. It’s important for her to have chicken free food but I also check every ingredient to make sure there are no controversial ingredients and this one checked out! I’m happy knowing that this food is high quality and affordable. It’s also pretty high calorie which is great because it lasts longer than other foods with fillers. I get a lot of compliments on how soft her coat is and she’s very shiny!
They like it
So far so good. They like it. I like it because there's no peas or corn.
A regular in our rotation
We feed grain inclusive, which can honestly be hard to find ones we like. Our dogs love it and it is a quality food brand! We plan to keep buying this food!!
This food worked
I would absolutely recommend this food for dogs with sensitive ears. Our Fate is an extra large Anatolian Shepard /St. Poodle mix with long ears and it has meant repetitive issues with bacterial infection. Frustrated with multiple treatments from the vet, otc, spray, gel, washes, everyday cleaning, trimming hair, drying, massaging and still he was uncomfortable. He may be a big baby but I could no longer stand to watch him shaking his head vigorously, disrupting sleep and quiet times with cries of pain and more shaking. I was desperate to find relief for all of us. I saw a food here labeled for "sensitive ears" and checked the ingredients. Then I researched those ingredients and their effect on good bacteria. I was pleased with the option and then immediately searched out another food with the main protein of anchovies, sardines, all oily fish, without potatoes or peas. Holistic Select had it and I added anchovy oil for topper. He's been on it for full two weeks. I wanted to give it a chance to make a difference so I stopped cleaning his ears and let it do it's thing. I have not had to clean his ears on the daily since we started this food. Last night when I cleaned his ears, yes there was lots of dark wax but that's an improvement. Most importantly I noticed immediately is ears didn't stink. There is no more foul permeating bacterial infection smell coming from his ears. He doesn't scratch his ears anymore, not even after I cleaned them. He is so much more comfortable, he doesn't shake his ears like he did, no more crying in pain. Yes he's still a big baby but I am so happy with this food and the way it has changed his ear condition. It makes me cry to know that my baby is no longer in constant agony and I don't have to keep experimenting with medications that don't work. I am so relieved my 125lb babys ears feel better. I absolutely recommend this for dogs with sensitive ears.
Sensitive Tummy Pups
We have two GSDs, one is 5 years old and the other just turned 1. I bought this food wanting to change up their diet because we noticed that they were starting to get gas from eating the food that had been working for them, the Nutro Ultra Large Breed. They have sensitive stomachs and are picky so I bought this hoping they would like it and it wouldn't bother them and they love it! Their coats are shinier now, no more regular gas and they seem to have more energy and feel better. The phosphorus and calcium ratio is in line with what's healthy for a large breed pup too.

What do I think? I think I need to not do anymore reviews for this awesome company (Chewy). Because Chewy is the best and I'm sure they sell high quality dog foods. The problem is my dog. She refuses to eat any dry dog food, continually anyway. Tho she will usually try to fool me and at least do a taste test..she wouldn't even try this one..the ingredients seem very good to me. I've literally bought thousands of dollars worth of foods for her to try. I think maybe she needs a doggy psychiatrist. Lol. So I'm once again going to try yet another brand. But we do love Chewy and they do have great quality foods! And she's old and picky.. and spoiled.
love this food and ingredients
We took a chance on this food as our boxers have a chicken allergy and a lot of the food we kept switching to had chicken byproduct in it as a ingredient. We felt good after looking at all the ingredients and I sure am glad we started this food. Our dogs are like night and day no more itching no more red paws. They enjoy eating and no more belly issues.
Special dog food
We’ve changed a couple of brands dog food before and my little dog was not interested, until this one, he likes it and eats very fast.

My vet recommended this dog food, and my dogs like it. We've tried different flavors and this is their favorite.
Picky Eater Doesn't Like
My dogs liked the salmon version of this brand, but one of my dogs won't eat this blend.
