this bag was bad!
I have purchased the same food for years for my dogs. This last bag made both of them very ill and resulted in emergency visit to my Vet and a huge bill. I would like to return this bag as it was only used for 4 meals (2 for each pup). Please let me know how I go about this. Also, until I know this food is fine, cancel any further deliveries of this partitular product

My Millie has allergies - she’s a two year old French bulldog who is as picky as they come ! I put this down in front of her she loves it !!
Quality food!
My pups love this food and the quality is great. Their coats look good - it stopped their itching. They never have stomach issues on holestic select brands. They will eat it dry or mixed.
Great food from day one.
Adonis has been eating this food from day one. He loves it and has never had any issues with it.
Picky and Allergies
I have two small dogs, one is completely picky and he eats like a bird. For him these are a little big, he's used to small bites, but he's going to have to deal for now. If your dog doesn't like big kibble I don't recommend this, more medium sized, but still not petite dog friendly in my opinion. My girl has HORRIBLE allergies we're trying to see if it's chicken or beef, thus why I got this brand. No chicken, beef or eggs, we'll see if it helps her. Arrived today, so impressed with the shipping, my puppies weren't very impressed when I poured this into their bowl. I thought the fish smell would entice them, but they sniffed and walked away. I'm sure they'll eat it when they're hungry cause they have no choice right now I need to get to the bottom of these allergies, I hope this helps her. I'll update my review with results.
Finally kibble that works!
My pup had giardia when I first brought him home, so was on all the meds to get rid of that. However, even when he tested giardia free, his stools were still soft and sometimes, runny. I tried the Hill's Science diet canned food for sensitive digestion but it didn't work. I tried Eukanuba kibble for sensitive digestion, but still no luck. After doing online research for kibble that hardens stools, I narrowed down my list and decided to try this brand because it had a lot of positive reviews for helping with soft stools. Lo and behold...it worked! I love this kibble, my dog loves this kibble, and my garbage loves this kibble as it is no longer filled with stinky soft stools. Thanks you Chewy for making this available and thank you Holistic for making this WONDERFUL food.
Healthy food for a healthy pet
We were introduced to Holistic Select by the owner of the shelter where we rescued our dog. She stated her conviction to feeding only top quality foods to her shelter animals. On our first visit to our veterinarian, she marveled at our new rescue's healthy appearance, and attributed that to the care she received while at the shelter. Upon showing her the food that the shelter was feeding, she agreed that Holistic Select was as good or better than the foods that she sells at her practice, and recommended that we keep feeding with Holistic Select. Our "Katie" loves this food! Holistic puts all the good things into this food, and keeps the bad things out! Omega-3 fatty acids are in, and grains are out! Probiotics, antioxidants, glucosamine, and taurine are all provided to assure a healthy heart. And it is made in the USA. We're glad we were introduced to Holistic Select, and our Katie seems happy that we were too!
No more pudding.
Pudding poops for 3 months using high end chicken brown rice combos. Nothing worked. Our last golden, sensitive stomach, was on this food with great success. Within three days we saw a difference. After 10 days we’re solid. Thank you.
Healthy dogs
I’ve been using this for years and my Great Pyrenees lived and an old old age of 12 which for that breed is old! My veterinarian always tells me how great my newfy and Airedale are and I feel it’s the fish diet I have them on. It helps with the skin allergies also, I give them treats without grains with peanut butter or pumpkin purée I freeze and sometimes chicken or venison all in all I believe this food helps keep them healthy and has never been recalled since I’ve been using it!
Cured stomach probs!!
My two Siberian huskies have been on the same dog food for two years. Suddenly, their stomachs were very upset. They were both having diarrhea frequently and eating grass to induce vomiting. I did a lot of research and found this dog food. Within two days of them being fully on it, their stomachs are completely back to normal and they go regularly and it is always solid. 10/10 and they love the taste!!
