    Mixed review from our dogs

By JennLarsen on Aug 26, 2018

We initially wanted this to make as a broth to mix in with dry food for our picky eater who prefers wet food. However, she would not eat the food when this was made in broth form. Our other food motivated dog would not touch his food if this was put in. Infact, he tried to bury it:) I ended up making the fresh food but I also wanted him to get used to kibble in case he was missing any nutrients. I bought the beef and chicken flavor . Unfortunately he didn’t respond well to the beef flavor and proceeded to hide/bury the food. Not sure if it was because the beef reminded him of smell and taste of the kibble or what. To me it smelled like regular dog food. Luckily I purchased the chicken flavor too! The chicken had an interesting more flavorful smell. I added 2TB of chicken broth to his kibble and for the first time he ate it all up!! This made me so happy. He hasn’t had any issues with the broth and really likes it!! … more
