    Great to flavor other foods

    I made the recommended amount for my 75 lb dog and boiled it on the stove with potato and veggies (until fork tender) to add to some slow cooked plain chicken or plain eggs. He is over the moon about it and eats his vegetables with his restricted, simple diet at the moment with no fuss like before. He doesn't care much for the broth itself or too much of watery broth on his food, but anything cooked in it or a small drizzle over unseasoned meat seems to be a winner.     Way too much turmeric

    I bought this to enhance the flavor of my senior cats' wet food. They took to it for the first meal, but any subsequent meal where I tried to add this, my cats refused to eat that food. It doesn't mix well at all, and there's way too much turmeric in the mix. Also, if you've ever cooked with turmeric I bought this to enhance the flavor of my senior cats' wet food. Also, if you've ever cooked with turmeric, you know how badly it stains. Ditto goes for carpets. Just FYI. This may be a good additive for dogs, but for my cats, it's a definite no. … more
