I've order this product many times and have always believed it a great product for my pups, over the years. They love it and it helps ease tummy problems, leaky gut, and supplies extra protein. (Mixing it with warm water and pour a couple of spoonfuls over dry & can mixed food, makes a wonderful gravy, all my pups loved it!) But, in my recent order, there was only about half of the product in the container (which never has happened before). Hence, only 4 Stars instead of 5. I contacted Chewy, and they remedied the situation immediately! As always, Chewy's customer Services are THE BEST! And Honest Kitchen Turkey Broth is a Super product! (I believe this problem was probably due to a machine filling the container, etc.,?) but, I still have confidence in Honest Kitchen's high quality pet products, and will continue to buy their products!) Thanks Honest Kitchen and CHEWY!
I sprinkle this on top of Goldie's food and she loves it-- it's extra flavor for her, and I love that it has turmeric for extra health benefits.
My cat is a somewhat picky eater and just started to like Turkey (he only liked fish before and wanted to try to introduce some other flavors since a sole fish food diet isn’t the best). He LOVES this broth. I give him less than the serving suggestion since his bowl is smaller and he is a messy eater, so I will definitely get more servings than what is mentioned. One note, this stuff stains! I have a white placemat for my cats bowls to go on and since some spills over, it has stained his mat. No biggie, but just something to know!
I am using the bone broth powder to add a second layer of flavor when camouflaging a pill in cheese. A trick a I learned from the Vet, doesn't hurt that it is adding good nutrients as well!!
I didn't realize this was a powder and I'm going to have to make it up and then put it into another container for what I want it for. I used it on their dinner to not only flavor it but to give it gravy. so I hope adding water to it and storing it in frdige for a while will be allright. I need the liquid stuff.
I was buying cartons of broth at the store weekly and one cat wouldn’t touch it! I wanted to avoid having to throw out unused broth every week and gave it a try. Even my picky eater loved it!
I put less than the recommended amount of powder on my border collie’ s dry food. She was attracted to eating it but then threw up. I wasn’t positive that it was the food. I thought maybe it was something from outside or whatever. I tried a week later and it Happened 3 times So no it was the powder for sure.
My dogs love this. I use it as a topper with their kibble and add warm water. The powder dissolves nicely.
My mixed breed rescue apparently comes from royalty, because he is very choosy about his food. He also has allergies, so we can only give him specific food, and he doesn’t love it. I’ve been pouring a little of this broth over his food every time he eats now, and he gobbles it up. I also add a half teaspoon of coconut oil, to help with his skin.
My mom bought this for me and my sister, it's the best!. I don't need that fattening wet food anymore . I eat all my dinner and feel amazing! Thanks chewy and thanks mom!
