I wanted to love this food. The ingredients are amazing, my dog loves the canine equivalent, and I was really hoping this could replace the garbage canned food I’ve been giving my kitties. My jerk- cats completely turned their noses up and refuse to eat this food. Guess they prefer the garbage. Sigh. I’ll keep trying. Maybe if I mix in some salt free broth?
I am trying to switch from kibble to this dehydrated food as a healthier choice, but my cat is having difficulty digesting and liking it. So introducing it slowly mixed with canned food and giving very small amounts several feeding daily. If I am not successful I will have to return to kibble but I am patiently trying as I believe this will keep her healthier and avoid kidney problems. Time will tell.
Both my boys loved this and you can make it as liquidy or thick as you like! It’s a pretty good deal compared to canned food
My cats absolutely love this food. It took them a couple meals to get used to it, but now they love it. They are very satiated when they have this for a meal.
I bought a single package first to see if my cats will even consider this mix. Turned out, that the pickiest eater who only eats one kind of one brand only loves this mix and finally I can diversify her diet. Tow older cats don't like it at all, but I decided to keep it anyways, because the smaller portion of this mix keeps the cat full for a longer time.
Unfortunately this made my already picky cat throw up and now he is even pickier with what he will eat. My not-picky-at-all cat will eat this but not very enthusiastically. I definitely wouldn't repurchase.
My cat does not like, it is very gritty and heavy and I was short a pouch.
I give this to my 8 cats at night when they go to their room. I make it very slurpy so that they get extra water. They seem to like it and the bowls get emptied during the night. Hoping it will be better for my guy that had crystal blockage to avoid reoccurrence. He won’t touch the vet food!
My cat doesn’t like wet food at all! I cannot get her to eat canned food at all. But, I tried The Honest Kitchen Dehydrated Chicken Formula and she devours it! Each morning, I mix room-temp or lightly warm water into the mixture and stir. You can make it as soupy or thick as to your cat’s preference. Let it sit for a minute or so and put it down. My cat meows constantly while I’m preparing it. She loves it and this is the only way I can get her to eat wet food. The only reason I didn’t give it a five star rating is because of the cost. Pretty expensive so I don’t give her much, that way it lasts longer.
My picky cat loves it , likes it wet or dry. My other cat turn his nose up even if I mix it with can food. Can't please them all lol.
