Lucy Postins is the Founder and Chief Integrity Officer of The Honest Kitchen, the first all-natural, human-grade pet food company. When Lucy's beloved dog, Mosi, began suffering with chronic health problems that conventional medicine couldn't cure in 2002, she took to the kitchen and made dog food from real ingredients. Soon, Mosi's problems vanished, and that experience led her to create The Honest Kitchen to share her expertise with other passionate pet parents and their beloved pets.
It’s not exactly what I was expecting. It seems like a big advertisement for Honest Kitchen, honestly. I was going to give it as a gift, but decided against it. There are some fun recipes inside though, and the illustrations are cute.
Love this book! It’s beautifully illustrated and would make a great gift. It has loads of recipes to make at home, useful health and management tips for keeping your dog happy, and a fun tone that’s not too serious.
This book is pretty much just an advertisement for Honest Kitchen products. I was pretty disappointed. Most of the information is very very basic and some of it is bull (like using the length guards on nail trimmers so you don't cut too much off. Those things are useless and just shouldn't be used by folks who don't want to make their dogs bleed!). I was hoping for some useful info but I wasn't satisfied.
Back with information glad I made the purchase. Right price
