I am extremely pleased that this company is making healthy animal food here in the USA and using USA products. Please consider making a cat food as well. I have 2 chis and 2 kitties... It’s a juggle to search and find the best quality food for them. Trial and error becomes costly and with the way most animals are it would be great if companies offer trial sizes. I don’t think it’s fair for Chewy to have credit or replace a full case just because of a “no like “ flavor. Consistency “yes”, bent cans “yes “, nasty smell, “yes”. And b4 you jump on my comment I do know Chewy has a parent company. I love their customer service and the live people that pick up the phone. Now back to my review of this product... I purchased this bc my chi was getting a few hot spots. I associated it with a chicken reaction so I looked into the fish blend for the omegas and oils. This company caught my eye and I purchased the case. ( this is what I mean about trial sizes) Of course he looked at me like I had 10 heads and was feeding him poison. But alpha Kitty devoured it !!! I have been purchasing this line of dog food in other flavors and consistencies. The stews are too watery but the pate is fine ... but the “toppers” are the best so far...( they have a 3 flavor trial pack but it didn’t include this fish blend) I recommend this for small dogs only because it is pricey and not enough substance for bigger dogs... But this was “cat “approved so go figure... … more

    Not worth the price

By GermanShepherd on Jun 25, 2020

For the price, the boxes are super small and nothing better then what you could get in a canned dog food. As a matter of fact, I'd prefer the canned food because they actually provide a good serving size.

    So Far, So Good

    By on

We have two dogs, Opie and Percy. Opie is being treated for Immune Mediated Hemolyctic Anemia and has to eat after taking his medication. I was making scrambled eggs with every meal until I found these. Both of the boys love it! Percy is a picky eater and I often catch him picking chunks of this out to eat and leaving his hard food behind. Opie would honestly eat anything you give him but I like that he is getting a protein boost and there isn't a bunch of preservatives in it. I don't go overboard when I add this so one carton lasts us 3 meal times (i.e. 6 individual servings). I've already set up my next auto-ship to try other varieties of their food toppers!

    Great for picky eaters

    By on

This topper provides the perfect umami to our pup's meals. I usually spread the servings of one box over 3 meals for our 30 lb furball. I recommend keeping the open box in a plastic sandwich bag unless you want your fridge to smell like tuna!

    Overpriced

Unfortunately my dogs did not like this topper and I'd rather have canned food as a topper, you get more out of a can.

    For my dog

I added this to my dogs food and at first she loved it, after a couple days she wouldn’t eat it anymore but she is such a picky eater! So I waited a couple more days and she started eating it again. Spoiled rotten

    packaging issues

Great product but the packaging is a little ridiculous/ problematic. Also not much in the carton. Dogs love it though.

My Vizsla likes it so far

    By on

I have an older picky eater, so I purchased this as a food topper. So far she really likes it. One box provides enough to top three meals, so this is a reasonable purchase. She has always liked fish as a topper - pollack, salmon, tuna, perch, shrimp, etc.
