  • Love that you can easily snap in half

    By on

I love THK products but almost didn't buy these due to some of the reviews. However my dog loves blueberries so I figured let's give it a shot. So glad I did! I can't speak to the old forumla that others mentioned but my dog loved this newer version. I also like that there is a line down the middle so you can easily snap in half to treat with less calories.

  • Not a fan of the new recipie

The previous version of these trests were a great size and shape for stuffing into a food toy or breaking into smaller peices. My dog isnt a fan of these new treats but she eats them if there isnt anything else being offered. It is nice that they can be broken in half and the ingredients seem good.

  • Will Not Reorder THK Pecks Treats

    By on

My Cocker Spaniel and Beagle LOVED the original THK Pecks! The new Pecks were very disappointing. The size, shape and smell changed, and apparently the taste also changed, as my dogs did NOT enjoy them nearly as much! I phoned THK and they explained they changed the ingredients due to customer requests. I explained that my dogs will continue to enjoy their excellent dehydrated food (THK Force), but they have lost our business for their treats. This is no reflection on Chewy.com! They are one of the BEST companies ever! Thank you, Chewy.com!

My dachshunds are picky eaters and they do not like these one bit. If you have picky pets you may want to pass on these.

Before the product change, this was my dogs favorite treat. No more. They do not even like this replacement product. Honest Kitchen, please bring back the original formula!

  • Best Treats Ever!

My Bichon almost jumps through hoops for these. They are so healthful. Their size is wonderful as she doesn't get too much at a time and keeps her youthful figure!

  • Very disappointed!!

Prior to the change in ingredients, I would've rated these treats 5 stars. I've ordered these treats several times over the last 3 months because there were NO legumes of any kind in the ingredients. Now THK has made these treats with CHICKPEA flour, and I can no longer feed them to my dog. My dog is allergic to peas, peanuts, beans, chickpeas and all other legumes. It took me 2+ years and over $2,000 in vet bills, along with a lot of agony for my German shepherd dog, before I figured out that the problem was peas and other legumes that are added to nearly every type of dog food and treats. Btw, I figured out my dog's pea allergy from reading reviews by many Chewy customers whose dogs were allergic Prior to the change in ingredients, I would've rated these treats 5 stars. Anyway, I can't buy these treats anymore. What a BIG bummer. Do you know how hard it is to find dog food/treats without legumes in the ingredients??? … more
