Questions & Answers

3 Customer Questions

Are they made in the USA?
Answer by ChewyMay 23, 2021
These treats are manufactured by food safety certified facilities in India. The buffalo comes from ethically sourced and responsibly raised water buffalo from India. These buffalo are grass-fed and free range from birth which means they are grain free. Growth promoters and hormones are never used.

Are these treated with irradiation?
Answer by ChewyJul 22, 2021
Honey I'm Home! does irradiate the treats and it is very safe. Irradiation makes meat and poultry safer by reducing the numbers of harmful bacteria and parasites. Food irradiation does not make foods radioactive. The radiant energy passes through the food. The food itself never contacts the source of the radiant energy. Irradiated foods are wholesome and nutritious. Nutrient losses caused by irradiation are less than or about the same as losses caused by cooking and freezing. Public health agencies worldwide have evaluated the safety of food irradiation over the last fifty years and found it to be safe. In 37 countries more than 40 food products are irradiated. In some European countries, irradiation has been in use for decades. In the United States, the Food and Drug Administration regulates food irradiation. In addition, food irradiation has received official endorsement from the American Medical Association, the World Health Organization, and the International Atomic Energy Agency.

My senior dog seems to be enjoying them!

This is her first one and watching her chew on it…I say, so far so good! Hope it helps her because she’s been whining at night…and now she’s busy chewing on it..and not complaining. Maybe it’ll put her to sleep after?

Great Chew

I bought these because the bully sticks I normally buy have been out of stock a lot lately. My dog (and my sister's more discerning pup) loves them. The price is reasonable, the chews themselves are decently sized, and they're healthy. I like that honey is added to these products.

Good amount in bag, impressed.

Our Doodle loves these and worth the cost but they still SMELL, even with the Honey on them. The regular Trachea tubes also smell lol. Sorry but being honest !! Will still buy these though for my boy ~

No bad smell

I absolutely love these treats! I have 2 large dogs (95lbs and 80lbs) and these entertain them and don’t have a bad smell like other trachea treats. Also like how they aren’t individually wrapped in the package so you can give them without messing around with the plastic wrapping. Highly recommend!
