I trust this food
I give this food mix with other brand lamb or beef based food from I had my ex-dog because want to add fish taste. I like the kibble size, 1/2" x 1/2" which may be too large for other dogs but for my current dog (75 Lb) who likes to crunch. I trust this brand, no any issue as diarrhea or vomit. Happy Holidays!!

unfortunately it is a bit too expensive for me-no wonder they loved it!
My dog wouldn't eat it :(
The 1st day we fed this to our Lab she ate it with gusto. After that it was almost impossible to get her to eat. I don't know what the problem is but I do know it was way to expensive to have a dog refuse to eat it. I always try to feed her high quality food, but when you're stuck with 20 lbs of dog food that costs almost $3 a lb it makes you wonder.
Dog hates this food
My dog (standard poodle) refused to eat this food from the first day we got it. Two and a half months later, I’m still mixing/hiding in this food 1/4 cup at a time to not waste the food/money. Dog tends to leave this kibble in bowl, and only eats it when super hungry. Can’t wait to get through the bag. Giving food 2 stars instead of 1 because it has quality ingredients. Does not smell very appetizing.
Good quality dog food!
I have gone through 9 different brands of dog food to discover that my 2 miniature schnauzers are allergic to poultry, lamb, pork, beef, grains, potatoes, sweet potatoes, and chickpeas. I started transitioning my dogs to this food without any vomiting, diarrhea or allergic reactions. They have been on this food for 4 months now and they are doing great! Their fur is growing faster and fuller and they look healthy. I hope and pray that Horizon does not change this formula. Thank you, Horizon, for providing such quality dog food! ,
Great dog food
I love this brand and the large size kibble. Perfect for my Am bulldog who has allergies. For my smaller dog I soak it in warm water. Both dogs love their kibble. So far no problems with allergies or soft stool/diarrhea. I used to feed Acana Wild Atlantic and rotate with Fromm surf and Turf. This product is still processed in Canada and much more affordable.
Great food
Both of our dogs love this food. Our welsh terrier is very picky, but when I say it is time for breakfast or dinner she runs to her bowl. We have tried many dog foods and this one is a keeper.
My dogs love this food and this food loves them
Been feeding this to my 2 herding breed mixes for three years now and they look amazing - bright-eyed, sleek-coated and bushy-tailed with small firm stools, no gas and great overall health. I switched my boyfriend's senior dachshund over to it and now he smells better, his coat is softer and he's much more active. This is the best food I've found that I can afford. Yes it's smelly -- it's salmon after all -- but it's well worth it!

Tried Legacy after a lot of research and another high quality food causing digestive issues for my dog. Within 24 hours of eating Legacy he was back on track! As some others have mentioned it is pretty smelly and you will notice that on your dogs breath :p but at three weeks in, it is holding his interest and he's his happy, active self without digestive issues.
