  • No Added Hormones, Steroids and Antibiotics

A lot of foods today are increasing the amounts of fats and proteins to mimic the diets dogs would have had in the wild. I fully stand by this, but my dog doesn't. He can't handle the higher levels and gets an upset tummy regardless of how long I've taken to switch the foods. I love this food. He no-longer refuses to eat! Horizon is the most affordable brand of food that is free of added hormones, steroids and antibiotics. I wish they made canned food as well.

  • Yum! Delicious!

    By on

The pups love this food and even transitioning from what they were eating to this was no problem at all. The ONLY tiny criticism is the kibble size is a little larger than I expected for my smaller dog, since I found it searching for dry food for small dogs, but, he's not having any problem with it, and again, scarfs it up!

  • Great for coat

My dog loves this! He has been eating Pulsar for several years now and I wouldn't change to anything else. He has a large scar on his back, and his hair has even started growing back! Always getting compliments on his shiny coat

  • Too Big of a bite!

    By on

I had no idea how big the food is. My dogs are small, 18 and 23 lbs, they really struggle chewing it. But they do seem to like it. I wish they had identified that it was more appro. for the bigger dogs.

  • Review on Horison Pulsar Pulses & Chicken

My two Boston Terriers and two German Shepherds don't seem very interested in it. I've had to add some type of human food to it to get them to eat it.

  • Best food for our bulldogs stomach

Have tried other brands of wheat free healthy dog food, our English bulldog doesn't like them or they made him sick. Been giving him Pulsar for 4 years.

  • Great Canadian Dog Food-Pulsar

Not currently distributed anywhere in Florida, but Chewy.com came to the rescue for my two Snowbird boxers when we came south this winter. Received it two days after placing my order with Chewy and delivered thru FEDEX.....both wonderful companies teaming up together. Both the dogs and myself thank you. BTW, your Call Centre people deserve a big hand of applause also.....amazing attitudes from the two I've so far dealt with!

  • Fed for the puppy stage

    By on

Back before my dog developed irritable bowel disease, we were feeding him this. He grew up to be a really healthy dog. I loved the fur, the feces wasn't terrible, and he looked forward to eating.

Greta high quality food for all life stages! Have a Corgi pup she loved it and same with my other two dogs. Just wish they only had a puppy food and seniors even though it says for all life stages the kibbles are a bit big for smalls dogs, but they do enjoy it very much.
