  • Good quality, good company

    By on

It has been my experience that Canadians make good quality products, whether it be for animals or people. I like this company and their dog food. Prices are reasonable. When you feed your dog quality food, you do not have to bathe them as often, they don't have as many skin problems, less shedding, less odor, less ear problems, etc.

  • Happy so far

I have a 1 1/2 yr old pitmix with food and skin allergies. Was feeding a hydrolyzed protein prescription food for about a year now to combat vomiting and severe potty issues. Due to to cost of normal vet bills when he has flare ups was looking for a cheaper food that would not cost us $200 a month on top of his apoquel for his skin $70 to $140 a month. After reading some reviews and a bit of info regarding food and skin allergies ordered a bag and began the food transition. I have to state I'm excited with the results as of now. Six days of transition and 3 days completely on horizon food and no vomiting or runny poop, hope it continues. Still using meds for skin through hopefully something I have a 1 1/2 yr old pitmix with food and skin allergies. • Love this food

    By on

We have 4 dogs (3 young Rottweilers/1 elder Pit Bull) wanted a grain free food from Canada & no so expensive. So far so good. We are coming off of Chicken and grains to see if “everyone” improves. We have been on Fish formula for almost 4 months. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because its not on the discount auto ship list!

  • Service & Food

Horizon is my favorite dog food, and since my pet relocated; it’s very convenient to order my products through Chewy. Easy and great customer service, they have everything you need for your pets.

  • Dog seems to like it

    By on

My dog (mini aussie 28lbs) likes it, the kibble is a little bigger than the Blue Buffalo he was eating but he crunches through it. Protein % is a little higher then the Blue Buffalo, so it all seems to be good.

  • Petsmart buys Chewy.

Outlandish. Horizon Pulsar is now in mass-production. Will not buy this product ever again and will not be shopping at Chewy, as well.

  • STILL the Best!

    By on

I switched to a different (less expensive) food that had most of the same ingredients. It was okay, but I am going back to Horizon Pulsar. The small issues we had prior to starting on Pulsar were 99% eradicated after a couple of months of giving my dogs Pulsar, and two months after trying a different brand, those same issues are back. I guess that confirms what I am buying from here on out!

I ordered a bag if Horizon Pulsar and Legacy both foods had pieces so big and hard my dog is not able to eat it.

My vet recommended this for my dog as it does not have many fillers. He loves it and I feel good giving him quality food.
