Favorite Dry Food so far

I was shocked. I tend to change food every time as my dogs will eat it eventually but are very picky. I keep saying “when they get hungry they’ll eat it”. I got two bowls of dry food: hound and gatos, and the other one with Kirkland salmon food. I put it in front of my dog and kept switching the bowls, moving them... and he kept going to Hound & Gatos lamb recipe. It might seem on the expensive side but it’s definitely worth it. I like to mix it up with some cooked food if I have time to make it but I love the ingredients, I love the packaging and I love how much my babies like this dry food. A definitive buy again!

I have a 4 year old German Shepherd x Pitbull mix and an 11 month old Belgian Malinois. My German shepherd mix Zeke has a laundry list of allergies so im always looking for different limited ingredient foods. This one specifically he still is unable to eat due to his egg allergy but I did let him try some. I sat a bowl of this and their current food in front of both of them and surprisingly both of them sniffed their current food then immediately went for the hounds & gatos food! My belgian malinois does not have any allergies at all and is able to eat the food without issue. She absolutely loves the flavor and even with switching foods it did not upset her tummy! Quality food for your best friend!

I fed my first dog the same protein for 5 years and she developed food allergies. With my second I switch up her proteins and brands of food. She’s 3 now and has never had any issues with new foods so I we continue doing it. Finding a new food can be a pain! You strain your eyes reading ingredient lists and looking up reviews. The key selling points with this food for me were that the first ingredient is deboned lamb, there’s no filler ingredients (and you can actually pronounce all the ingredients), and it’s made in the US. There no corn, soy or green peas and this particular recipe is chicken free so it’s one of the few my dog with food allergies can have as well. The second we got this food, my dog literally couldn’t stop licking the package! He loves this food so much and it’s a great recipe made with all natural ingredients and no refined grains like most dog foods. With hound and gatos you can be sure you’re getting all natural ingredients your pup will LOOOOVE. Would definitely get again for my pup 100%
