Feeding Instructions

For Adult cats, feed 1 can per 6 - 8 lbs. of body weight per day.

Kittens require up to 2 and a half times this amount. For pregnant and lactating females, allow free access to food. Adjust the amount of food you serve based on the age, size and activity level of your cat. Food should be fed at room temperature. Promptly refrigerate the unused portion.

Transition Instructions

If you are currently free-feeding a kibble, the first step is to feed your cat at meal times. Put the kibble down for a 20-30 minute time frame for a few days to help your cat recognize that this is feeding time. Yes, your cat will be hungry at these mealtimes if they have been used to grazing all day long, but this step will help in the transition.

Once these meal times are established, then try introducing canned food. Your cat will either like it and your transition took no time at all, or you may have to keep trying to entice the cat. If your cat will not eat the canned food you have offered, try putting some kibble on the top to entice the cat. If that doesn’t work, feed kibble and try a different protein at the next mealtime. It may take a while – a few day or a few weeks – for your cat to realize that this is food, but remember that you are doing it to better your cats health.

    Cat loves but...

    By on

So my cat absolutely loves this food, my only complaint is that there doesn't seem to be as much food in the can as with other flavors (i.e. higher water content). I can usually get two feedings out of a can of food but with this flavor specifically I only get about one and a half feedings.

    Very Moist Food

    By on

Cats loves this one! It's very Moist and soft, palletable and they lapped it right up. One of my cats is a picky eater and the other one is getting old. The picky eater ate his plate up and laid down while licking his paws for quite some time. A little bit on the pricier side by worth it.

For our cats, this is okay...

    By on

Everything I’ve read suggests this is a good wet food for cats. So the question is more of palatability than anything else. And our cats seem to like it.
