Discover a better way to cohabitate with your feline companion in Workman Publishing How to Toilet Train Your Cat. Follow this fool-proof 21-day program to teach any litter-trained cat to use a toilet instead of a box. Now cat owners everywhere can put down their scoops, stop lugging around heavy sacks of litter, enjoy a fresher-smelling home, and save hundreds of dollars a year.

All you need are some magazines or newspapers, masking tape, heavy-duty plastic wrap, a supply of litter, and a cat between the ages of six months and 10 years. 21 days later, your cat will be using the toilet, just like any other civilized member of the family. A toilet-trained cat is a happier, healthier cat.

Would be great for a well trained kitten....

    By grandmadeb724 on Jan 30, 2020

My kitten is 9 months old and refuses to use the litter box. She is however, very interested in the toilet, so we thought this might be good for her. Unfortunately, kitty has to be well litter trained before starting this program. If she was well litter trained, I wouldn't be worried about changing her habit!

Not sure about this but may try it out. Would need to be home at all times during the process. Hmmmmm. We shall see.

May work for some - not my cat

By Dave on Jun 15, 2018

Got all the way to the moment of truth. Rocco would NOT stand on the toilet seat to do his business, Instead used floor, etc., then just withheld going. Defended his boundaries....
