Take care of your fur-ever friend’s muscles with the Hurtta Body Warmer Dog Bodysuit. This multi-purpose overall is great for soothing an active dog’s muscles or for aging dogs or those undergoing rehabilitation. It provides warmth with an inner lining of foil material that retains your dog’s own warmth. The outer layer is a smooth, stretchy fabric for added comfort. Can be worn under a waterproof jacket. The adjustable belt and collar makes finding the best fit for your best friend incredibly easy. Evening playtime and late night walks are made safer with help from visible reflectors on the seams.
With multiple sizes available, be sure to measure your dog prior to ordering to ensure the best for your bud, paying close attention to his back length.
Reflective foil liner protects your pup against cold weather by reflecting his own body heat to warm him up.
Pups of all ages can benefit from the breathable fabric and comfortable fit.
High-visibility reflectors makes spotting your pup easier at night.
Whether it’s for muscle care or providing extra warmth, the suit can serve plenty of purposes.
The back length should be measured from the withers (not the collar) to the base of the tail, while the dog is standing in normal position.
The neckline measurement should be taken at the base of the neck, this being the widest point of the neck. The neckline of an overall can be larger than the circumference of the dog's neck, as it can be adjusted to fit a smaller neck.
The chest measurement should be taken at the widest point of the chest, from behind the front legs. To ensure sufficient freedom of movement, the chest of an overall should be 2-8 inches wider than the dog's chest.
The front leg length should be measured from the bottom of the rib cage along the inner side of the leg to the wrist bone. The legs of an overall are of an appropriate length when they reach down to the dog's forearms.
I’ve been looking for a coat that covered more of the legs on my chihuahua mix. They are so skinny and he freezes in these NE winters. I put this suite on him under his coat and he’s toasty warm. They fit great going by the sizing. Well worth the price.
Mountain camping/ hiking

My husband and I love camping with our dog. She’s a 50 lbs Patterdale/Staffordshire mix. We spent a weekend up in the mountains early spring, and it was a steady 10 degrees to -5. I put a Good2Go ski jacket over this, with Ruffwear bootliners and snow shoes to keep her paws warm, and at night she slept in a Ruffwear sleeping bag with an insulated pad. This body warmer is definitely a life saver in this situation, and I’d never go anywhere cold without it

We LOVE Hurtta so I’m always stoked to find a good deal on it. The body warmer fits my dog perfectly since I order based on her back length, from either to base of tail.
My Min Pin LOVES this bodysuit!
on Jan 9, 2020
My min pin is a little larger than the average min pin, he is about 12 pounds. His measurements are: Neck 12 inches, Chest 19 inches, Body 16 inches long and I ordered the 14M. The body suit fits him really well and the adjustable elastic in the body really helps with the fit. My dog is 12 years old and he hates being cold. He wears this for comfort and warmth. I would definitely buy this again. My dog is more willing to go outside when it's cold when he wears this track suit. He also has a Hurtta winter jacket and this body suit fits perfectly underneath for added warmth.

I bought this for my 3 yr old Chaweenie. He is pretty bare on his neck and chest, so we wanted something to help keep him warm when going outside for quick potty breaks, as Minnesota can be brutal on these little guys!
He measures a 10" neck,
16" chest/girth, and 12 1/2" body length. With adding 2" as recommended to the girth and body length, we went the
Size 30L/12L. This fits him perfect!! A little long on the hind legs, but just rolling it once made all the difference!
So glad we bought this for our fur baby! Great product!
this is a great product, but...

I like the idea of this, but it was difficult to get my dog in it, as it zips up on top and you sort of have to hold all sides so you could maintain your dog in the suit without paws sliding out of sleeves while trying to zip up. Also, I ordered 12L for my 6lb Italian Grey hound / Chihuahua mix. He is very skinny and tall with long skinny legs... he was swimming in it. It was way to big. Probably should h e ordered the 8s for the chihuahua breeds, but I worried that my dog is so tall that it may not fit him. It’s a great product for some dogs I’m sure and will keep them warm, but not for mine :)
Warmth and comfort!

I recently moved to DC from Florida with my 11 pound schnoodle. She is such a Florida girl and has been struggling with her recent introduction to fall. I get her groomed every three months which means she gets really really short hair (she’s prone to mats) and She has not stopped shivering since last Sunday. I had a small fleece pullover for her but it left her long, thin legs exposed. She had some PJs that had sleeves but the fabric made her prone to getting stuck if she moved too much so I couldnt trust her to be safe while unsupervised. I started researching something warm, with sleeves, and comfortable and I found it with this body suit. I started researching something warm, with sleeves, and comfortable and I found it with this body suit. She is mostly covered up and remains warm in the house and outside. It also allows for versatility and their size selection is amazing! My dog has weird dimensions (14”L, 18”chest, 8.5” neck, 12”rear legs and 10” front legs) so finding something for her has been difficult but I ordered size 14M (mostly because 14XS has very small sleeves and my baby has the longest legs). This product has elasticity in the neck area and around her chest so even though the sizing looks baggy, playing with the elastics has given her a very decent and safe fit. She loves the suit and is still running and playing as if she were naked which is amazing!
The only things I would change are that the elastic for the chest has the sting inside the suit and I don’t know how comfortable that will be for her (imagine having a plastic tag holder in your shirt all day) and also that there is no elastic size control for the sleeves.
That all being said, this is an amazing product and definitely worth the 60$ investment for her comfort. I will probably buy another for her so she can have a spare. I am in love with this body suit and cannot recommend it enough. It’s exactly what I’ve been looking for and what I was about to start designing from clothing scraps lol.… more

Sam loves his bodysuit! He wore it all weekend in 30 degree weather and was perfectly fine! I recommend def using their size chart to find your pup’s size.
