Hurtta Extreme Overall
Very impressed with how well this item is made. Got at end of year so haven't tried it in snow yet, but looking forward to next year. Fits my 50 lb Vizsla very well, got 22m. She is tall at 24 inches.
Great Snowsuit 100%!
This is the best dog snowsuit. Our dog is a 75# Boxer with long legs and the 24M is perfect. We tried the 22M first but it was too tight. He has been super warm in -15 wind chill temps and snow. This was a perfect solution for us for his legs and to keep his head and ears covered. Other types of snoods don't stay on his head or ears very well at all but this one stays in place. He can use the bathroom with no problems. Everything stays out of the way. The adjustment points and elastic closures make it really easy to adjust to your dog. I would not hesitate to recommend this to a family member or friend. We have the Expedition Parka as well. This one is for when it is super frigid outside.
Hurtta snowsuit
This Hurtta snowsuit provided all day warmth for my German shorthaired pointer while we ice fished on a 24 degree day. Occasionally she would even pant when running about. I just wished I had ordered one size smaller. Did not hinder her speed running around. Worth the extra money knowing she was warm.
Well made, leg snaps very hard to snap
I got a 12S for my 10 Havanese based on the size charts from the Hurtta website. I think the Chewy size chart may be outdated. The overall was too restrictive in the front for him to walk. My dog refused to walk in it despite the lure of treats. I considered exchanging for the 12M or 14 but decided this just was not the right coat for my dog. My dog hates putting his legs in the front legs and kept pulling them out. Not worth the effort. Also I personally found the leg snaps impossible to snap. The 2 parts of the snap just didnt fit together. I ended up getting the Hurtta Expedition parka. Im considering the base layer overall which might have more stretch.
Full Body Suit
Would have given it 5 stars, BUT.. it isnt easy putting on a little pooch who hates her paws touched. But once on, she looks like an astronaut dog ready for the most challenging temps. Took about 30 mins before she got use to it and realizning she can still do her business with it on. A bit pricey.
So adjustable!
My dog, Nugget, is a Chihuahua mix and it seems nothing ever fits him quite right, so I was skeptical that this would. I was delighted to find that it is adjustable in SO MANY ways! It will definitely keep him warm and snug in the snow!
Love this snowsuit
I have a black lab. We like to be outside even in cold temperatures. I know my dog is comfortable and protected from the elements of winter. I feel this snowsuit is state of the art. When they designed this snowsuit Hurrta thought of everything!
excellent snow suit
These snowsuits are excellent for cold days. All 4 of my dogs wear them and stay warm. They have no issues moving around or going to the bathroom in them. Would recommend conditioning them to getting their feet put in though if your dog is sensitive about their paws.
Best Extreme Weather Full Body Coat
My 7.5# pup hikes / backpacks all year long. She has worn this coat to hike in freezing weather ALL day and has stayed warm … even when stopping for a break. I do layer her with Hurtta’s body warmer & a fleece (like a human). I was hesitant to spend so much … but well worth the cost. As she is so tiny, it took a couple times out to get her used to the bulk, but she knows she is in for an adventure now and gets excited when putting this coat on.

I purchased this for my boxer for the upcoming winter. Haven’t had a chance to take it out yet but it fits perfectly and looks great! I have no doubts that he will stay nice and warm during our walks in the snow. 10/10
