I bought this harness as an alternative to the $100+ light mobility support harnesses typically made for service dogs. I got the 47 inch in black harness on sale for $20. This harness is well made and padded for comfort. My dog is XL and very tall so the handle is a great length, however the handle itself is not padded so it needs a wrap to hold without digging into your hand, which is my only complaint. It also has D-ring attachments on the sides (which is only featured in one of the images so I’m not sure if it’s only for select sizes/styles) for custom tug straps and handles. I bought the 47inch for my 130 lbs dog who’s about the size of a feamale Great Dane and it fits perfectly.

We have been searching for a better harness, and I was pretty excited this one might be "the one" for our labrador. I wanted to love this, but there were too many cons:
1. Size/Fit: This harness is not very adjustable. We tried EZ walk and other high end harnesses, all which either don't adjust well to our dog's body, or they cause chaffing and he begins to run at the sight of the harness. This goes over his head easily but I have to have him in a down position so I don't hurt him trying to awkwardly bend his legs and put them through. There's not enough room for him to "step into" this harness. According to his measurements and the size chart, he was on the border between a 32" and a 35" We have been searching for a better harness, and I was pretty excited this one might be "the one" for our labrador. There are significant gaps on the side when he's moving that I haven't been able to adjust out.
2. Padding: I thought the belly strap would be padded but it turns out it isn't and still rubs against him, which will chafe overtime just like all the others we've tried.
3. Leash attachment: I am not a fan of the ring for leash attachment can move freely on the handle which compromises control at times during our walks.
Based the challenges we've had with it, I would not recommend. Maybe those it has worked for don't have dogs that are in between sizes?… more

Love these Hurtta harnesses so much I bought another. Newest version has a nice handle loop which is super convenient to reign in your pet or simply assist in lifting up. Love it. Top notch on the quality!
Love this harness!!!

I purchased two of these for my Westie and Dachsund about 5 years ago because regular collars were choking my doggies who, despite their senior status, are quite active. I had to look all over to find replacements, and found this particular one only at Chewy.com with the help of the regular pet store I go to who used to carry Hurtta. Anyway, it's strong, yet soft, without a lot of seams that can irritate the dogs' skin. Hold up extremely well. I hand washed them, then either hung to dry or put them in the dryer, no problem. Thank you for making a harness that's padded, but isn't the wide padding that covers all the dog's fur or hair. Awesome product!
Will never buy another harness

We have this harness for our lab mix and we swear by it! The handle is great for holding her close in crowded areas, but also for helping her over obstacles when hiking. We love that it applies pressure across the chest when she pulls instead of rubbing on her underarms. Absolutely OBSESSED with this brand, and have yet to be disappointed.

I have this harness in turquoise and love it! It's easy to put on and I love how it's reflective. It's my go to nighttime harness. Jeffrey seems to like it too! The padding makes it seem comfortable.
Easy to wear, effective harness.

I followed the measuring instructions and selecting the appropriate sized harness, which fits my dog perfectly. There's only a single clip to do, and she loves to put the harness on. Very easy to use and very easy to take off.

I purchased the Red Harness for my Doberman, the harness is not AT ALL red. It is a pink color. I am very disappointed in this since he is a male.
