This coat is great. It’s warm (but not too warm) - works for 30-40F weather for my barely-has-any-fur pitbull. It’s weatherproof enough to comfortably handle rain or snow. I’d recommend rounding your dogs size up - it cinches down very well but you want to make sure there’s enough fabric to cover your pooch. It works well with a back fastening harness, and if you tuck the neck flap into the coat would work well for a collar and leash. The elastic around the neck can be adjusted to seal out rain if needed. Hi vis orange is perfect for low visibility weather or hikes in hunting areas. Female dog can pee/poop in the coat with no issues, but as other reviewers have mentioned she does not like the This coat is great. I bought this for my parents goldendoodle, and it's great. First off - it's easy for my elderly parents to get this coat on and off of her. Second - the bright color and reflective strips are great after dark. The best part is she seems to love the coat and actually ducks her head into it voluntarily when it's time for a walk. This coat was adjustable at the chest neck and tail, so it was easy to fit to her somewhat stocky frame. Great purchase. Definitely worth the extra money. I wish I could get this coat in this color in my own dog's much smaller size. Please restock!!!!

Not as thick as I expected it to be, but it works quite well—since it allows for a doggie sweater underneath. The biggest benefits are the length and the neck coverage. And even though I don't have my pooch use the rear straps (she hates them), it stay's in place.

Bought a 20-inch size for my 40lb pit/boxer/hound mix who has a broad chest. It fits perfect and doesn’t chafe his arms or chest. Very warm fleece inside and love the bright orange and harness attachment hole. Also love that it covers the entire length of his body - I have found many dog coats only go halfway down his back and don’t provide adequate warmth for the northern New England winters. Highly recommend.

My dog loves to lay outside no matter what the weather so I needed a warm coat that would protect him from the elements. Love this coat

My dogs' backs measure 16.5 and 20.25. So I ordered a 16, and a 20. But the coats were a little too short, and the leg straps were too tight to be used. Need to exchange for larger sizes.

My short haired Staffy-Pitt mix was very comfy and warm with his jacket. We had to return it the first time we got it because the size was not what we expected. The second time the jacket still was a little big for my dog but our trip was already there so we decided to keep it. It's a very well made jacket. Just the size inconvenience, so plan ahead.

This parka is great. The sizing chart was accurate so it fits perfectly. Our dog is high energy so getting a jacket on him can be quite a challenge...this parka is so easy to put on: slip over the head and snap one buckle. It's great!! Parka arrived just prior to the 2021 Texas Arctic weather event so was extremely useful during the bitter cold and wet weather. Kept our dog warm on his walks. Seems to be of good quality, stays in place even without the rear leg straps. Love the bright orange color with reflective areas. Thankful to have it for my dog and he seems to like it too now that he's more used to it!
