Hi! I'm Luka, a 3 yr old Doberman and I HATE the cold but, I really like my Summit Parka. Although I wasn't quite sure when mom first put it on me (I just stood like a statue for a really long time) I got used to it pretty quickly. Finally, I'm warm enough to spend time outside with my big brother (he is a German Shepherd and LOVES the cold). All in all, I prefer warmer weather but if your humans refuse to relocate for you this parka makes winter almost ok. (I still hate that frozen white stuff mom calls snow) 10/10 Luka recommends

This parka is great. The sizing chart was accurate so it fits perfectly. Our dog is high energy so getting a jacket on him can be quite a challenge...this parka is so easy to put on: slip over the head and snap one buckle. It's great!! Parka arrived just prior to the 2021 Texas Arctic weather event so was extremely useful during the bitter cold and wet weather. Kept our dog warm on his walks. Seems to be of good quality, stays in place even without the rear leg straps. Love the bright orange color with reflective areas. Thankful to have it for my dog and he seems to like it too now that he's more used to it!

I would highly recommend this coat for keeping your dog warm! We ordered this last minute for a trip to MI where we hiked in 24 degree weather. This coat was extremely customizable for our dog, she has a bigger chest and very small stomach. We will see how it holds up!

This is the third Hurtta Summit Insulated Dog Parka I have purchased. The first two were for my lab/pit and my beagle/hound/pit mixes. The third is for my new boy, a dachshund/pit mix. This parka really does the job of protecting my sweet babes, keeping them warm and dry. It is so easy to put on and love the orange color, making it easy to see them on the run. And with all of the possible adjustments, you are guaranteed a great fit. They wash and dry beautifully. The first two still look like new after several years of wearing.

Coat fits my beagle mix perfectly, Rusty has 17" neck, 26" chest, and 20" long back, after talking to customer service for recommendations I got the 18" size. It fits just right, and we can go for longer walks now in cold weather! I don't use the back leg straps, they seem to bother him, but otherwise the coat is perfect!

Easy to put on. Good body coverage. Not for dogs to run through forests. My dog is not gentle and would rather run through something than around things. He tore a cuff on our first walk. He ripped a hole and broke an adjustment string on our second. On all our walks he filled the collar with snow. The jacket still kept him warm. If our walks were only on leash and your dog needed a warm jacket with good coverage I'd absolutely recommend this jacket. If your dog like mine runs through deep snow and through underbrush don't get this one.

I'm so happy I've finally found a great jacket that fits Ginger perfectly and keeps him warm in this cold weather. He looks adorable and has been getting nothing but compliments. LOVE IT!
