To get the most accurate size harness for your pet, measure the girth of their chest, around the widest part of your dog's torso right behind the front legs, with a cloth tape measure. Pull the cloth tape snug, but not tight. If you don't have a cloth tape measure, you can use a piece of string and measure it with a rigid ruler afterwards. Make sure there's enough room for about two fingers between the harness and your pet's chest for comfort.

Wrong item in description

Chewy lists this as being size 24-34, but that isn't a size Hurtta makes. The actual size is a 24-32, and those two inches make all the difference! This particular size is also very short -- while this bucked around her chest, it only went ~25% of the way down her body, which looked ridiculous and was ineffective. We love Hurtta products for her normally, this is just mis-marked.

we have an 85# mix with a big chest. this fits fine. was easy to adjust. the clips are plastic, but so far seem very durable.

Great, sturdy harness

This harness is awesome. It seems to be comfortable and really well made, and it washes easily. It does not stop my dog from pulling in any way, but it helps me control her better and lead her away from triggers when I need to. I also love the handle it has; we have already used that several times!

Absolutely love this product. Bought it when there were almost no reviews so I was nervous that it might not be a good purchase (you just never know). But W O W. My pup looks fabulous and it's so thick and sturdy! Love the big D-ring and the extra pull strap so I can easily pull her up from a lying down position. Really a great purchase for the price, however, would love the harness to expand around the head (it's tight getting it on and off). But overall, seriously amazing. And I'm picky.

my boxer loved it, and I ordered it on a Sunday and it was delivered the next day! sadly, my best friend and companion passed away a week later from kidney disease. he was happy and active though, till late the evening prior, and I could tell he was so proud of his new "vest". it doesn't get any better than that...thanks chewy. you and your people are the best I've ever dealt with!

After my pup outgrew his original harness, I've been looking for a stylish well-made, easy to use harness (note: this does go over the head) - its been a massive search! And I'm thrilled to have found this Hurtta harness. The hedge color is stunning, the hardware seemed a bit heavy to me, but my 18 lb. Cavalier seems to be totally content with it (size 18-24). Super happy and fits well!

The Hurtta harness has been the best thing for my dog, Rosie, and me because it fits her perfect . I have more control when taking her for a walk because I know she can worm her way out of it. She must love it too because she comes right up to me when its time for her to wear it so I can put it over her head. Thank you very much!

I ordered a red harness for my black boxer. When i got it I was excited and amazed. It looks extremely well on a black haired dog. i love everything about it:has a vibrant color,very soft fabric ,durable plastic accessories. At the same day I ordered a 2nd green harness for my boxer(she has a sensitive skin so harness must me soft).believe me I fell in love immediately, very well designed items! That period was a rainy week and we wait for sunny day. At my first dogs walk with new harness I realized I bought a wrong type of harness sadly. Can be taught for you too if you have two hunters and chasers, as mine, love their freedom to run on a long leash. In my experience was hard to manage the I ordered a red harness for my black boxer.
