Is this good for cats with arthritis? My cat is having trouble walking he's limping alot more.
Answer by ChewyFeb 18, 2021
HyaFlex is patented for joint health, and helps to compensate for your pet's depleted ability to product Hyaluronic Acid with age by maintaining and supporting healthy movement and lubrication. It is ideal for joint lubrication, joint flexibility, joint function and cartilage function.

10/28/20 My disabled cat Faith Unfortunately is hardly able to walk any more she is 8+ she’s on Gabapentin + Supplements from chewy How many doses if 1 ml. Per day, and if given by mouth how is dropper cleaned
Answer by ChewyNov 09, 2020
This bottle contains (30) 1mL doses. For cats weighing 1-5 pounds, administer 1/2 dropper daily. For cats weighing 6-10 pounds, administer 3/4 dropper daily. For cats weighing 11 pounds or more, administer 1 full dropper daily. If your pet has a medical condition and is taking other medication, we recommend consulting with your veterinarian to ensure that this supplement is safe to use. For the best results, the manufacturer of this supplement recommends cleaning the dropper thoroughly between uses, and storing the bottle with the original cap. To clean a dropper, you can rinse the piece with soap, rinse with clean water, and air dry.

Thankfully, this does actually work.

I have a senior indoor/outdoor cat who was developing a bad limp, as if his left hind leg was in pain--vet says it's arthritis. He had stopped playing and jumping onto high places. After a month of using a 1/2 dropper of this daily (in a little milk...it's apparently flavorless and he doesn't seem to know it's in there) I saw about a 50% improvement. Now that he's been on it a full year, overall the improvement has been about 90%, which is wonderful. He does play again now, and does hop up onto high surfaces again. If he's in any pain, it doesn't show. Be patient, don't skip any days and give it at least a month...your pet will improve. It isn't cheap but one bottle lasts me around a month and a half. Well worth it! :) I'm very very happy that this stuff works! I felt I should review in the hopes it will help other pets.

Cat's hips still hurt

I've been using this product for my cat for two weeks now and I don't see a difference. My cat still has trouble with his hips, especially in the morning.

Definite improvement for kitty with knee problems

Mind you, this is no miracle cure, but it did give a noticeable improvement in comfort and mobility for my kitty. Her vet has been saying for years she needed to be on a supplement for the inflammation, but since she has a shellfish allergy, she couldn't take the usual cosequin or other mobility supplements. After taking this for a full month, she's able to climb to almost all of her favorite perches once more, she's running in the hallways again, and I would even say she's sleeping better.
