Cute but not durable for big chewers

I’m always hopeful when it comes to fire hose toys. My husband is a fireman, so I always try the fire hose toys. This toy lasted about 15 minutes until my dog Maddy ripped the squeaker out and had shred it to pieces before I took it away.

It is durable except for the antennae that I ended up cutting off but the squeaky body is very durable and he is not easy on toys.

Firehose material squeak toys seams to be the holy grail of squeak toys for us. My dog cannot get his little chompers through the material and he can't get a grip of the material in order to pick at it and pull it apart. I also love that this toy just has one large squeaker.

I would not if you have a dog that likes to chew, it didn't last 24 hrs., it wasn't so much the toy itself as it was the material around the outside, it should have been stitched better. That is my own opinion.

Another "short lived" report

Not as advertised. Within a few minutes the antenna were chewed off and within the next hour the so called fire hose material had been chewed through. I pity the the firemen who have hoses made of this material. My dog is 15 months old and has many toys that have held up better than this one.

This item arrived today and gave it to my 3 yr old American Bulldog/lab mix - he had it less than 20 minutes before he had it chewed up and we had to take it away from him. I was under the impression that the firehose toys would last a little longer with heavy chewers.

Fun but not durable

My 12 pound Bichon likes the toy/squeaker but it only took him 20 minutes to tear a 3 inch hole in the Firehose material.
