Buyer Beware
I bought this because Chewy was out of our regular dog shampoo and the reviews were great. After I bought this and had a horrible experience, another negative review was posted. I absolutely do not believe that the strong perfume in this product listed in tiny print as “parfum,” is natural. It was hard for me to breathe, burned my throat and sinuses and made me cough badly, so I was worried about my dogs in the tub. Well, one of my dogs was fine but my English Bulldog was not. Within hours her skin began to turn red and got so bad I called the vet. I paid $79.00 for this awful shampoo and $94.00 for the vet! So no, I would never buy this product again and no, I do not recommend it unless you want to take the risks. I attached photos so you can see what this shampoo did to my dog. She never had that reaction to anything before I used this dog shampoo, and she has never had such a reaction since then. I wouldn’t even empty out the plastic bottle to recycle it because I was so afraid of being exposed to that irritating “parfum” again!
Review of shampoo
This shampoo does NOT work for dandruff. For that reason, I am disappointed that I paid such a high price for a product that only smells good but is not effective for dandruff.
This shampoo has an awful smell!
I found this shampoo to be unusable because of the smell, it is overpowering! Chewy issued me a refund, thank goodness, and I ordered another kind of shampoo with, hopefully, no or little fragrance.
Amazing Product
This stuff is so amazing, it smells good and clean, good lather, and does not irritate my skin or the dogs. I plan on using this in my shop!
Amazing Shampoo!!!
As a dog groomer, Im always on the look out for a great product.... this is it! I've been using for 2 months now and it works. The coats are cleaned and shiny! And the light fragrance my clients love, not one has complained.
Professional Line
I am a professional groomer and got sent some samples. I was amazed at how it smelled, and cleaned! Doesn't dry out the skin but cleans great. Very little product is needed and makes an awesome lather. I plan on using this product in my salon.

Best Shampoo ever!
I'm a professional pet groomer and the Hyponic shampoo line is by far the best I've ever used in my 20 years of grooming. The clean is amazing, it doesn't dry your hands out and because it is so moisturizing there is no need for an extra conditioner. I have seen it fix dry itchy skin in dogs and the change in my clients coats are remarkable since I switched. I cant say enough good things about this product!
A perfect 2 in 1
I absolutely love this product and my dog is a big fan! He constantly gets dandruff and I hate to see his skin all red and patchy. Other shampoos I've tried aren't as smooth as this and the 2 in 1 is definitely a plus! Highly recommend to any dog lover and so glad I found this product!!!
Dog Groomer
Absolutely amazing! As a dog groomer I have used many brand name shampoos and conditioners this shampoo is by far the best. This is perfect for all dogs especially those that have dry or sensitive skin. Best part you don't need a conditioner. This has a nice rich leather that rinses off very easily. For all you groomers out there this shampoo will cut your drying time and clipper cuts significantly. Very helpful when working on a doodle.
