    allergy ridden cat

    By on

my cat has numerous allergies and licks the fur off his legs. Has been on prescription food but hasn't seemed to help. I decided to take him off chicken and grains and see if that would make a difference. I bought this along with the canned rabbit that this company also sells. My cat will eat this, but prefers the wet rabbit in the can. He still does some licking of his fur, but has cut back dramatically and you can see the fur is growing back in. It has only been two weeks. I am hoping this company will come up with an alternate simply limited ingredient dry food so the cats can have a different choice.

    Cats wont eat it..

    By on

It seemed like a good brand and deal but my cats won't touch it. I noticed many others had a similar problem so I wonder what the deal is with the smell or flavoring of this.

    Problem SOLVED

    By on

My 12 year old cat began having a problem with diarrhea due to a stomach bug. I needed a plain food that would be extra gentle on his system. We tried I AND LOVE AND YOU for the first time and were extremely pleased with the way in which it helped him to recover. He had shunned his usual food but readily took to the salmon and sweet potato formula designed for sensitive stomachs. The stomach bug ran its course but he was able to get the nutrition he needed throughout the illness. We will be trying other flavors of this product as it seems to be to his liking! Thanks, Chewy, for making this product available and getting it here in record time!

Cat is not crazy about this

    By on

Seems like a decent food but my cat is not super crazy about it. While I was transitioning him to this food he would eat around it to get the pieces of his old stuff. Maybe he doesn't like Salmon?

    1 of 3 Great Foods

    By on

I have two cats allergic to chicken and one diabetic cat that requires a low calorie count with 6 cats overall - all who have to like the taste of the food in order to use it. I love that this product has both prebiotics and probiotics and no grains. All the cats absolutely love the taste of this product - they went crazy over it when I first gave it to them! When you read reviews that a pet doesn't like the taste of a product, remember that each cat's taste can be different. You have to actually try the product for yourself and your pet. I bought the smallest bag for products, and found 3 products that answered my needs - this is one of them.

    Great Concept, Poor Execution

    By on

I purchased this cat food to try since I have two cats and they are sensitive to certain foods. I loved the story behind this food brand and thought that this would be a good match! I mixed the new food into their old food so I could slowly acclimate them to it, but as it turns out, neither of them like it. They pushed the new food around and dig through it to get to their old food. It's created a bit of a mess.

    Help for Allergies

    By on

My second youngest cat started having an outbreak about a year after I got him. Allergy testing didn't reveal anything helpful. I tried switching him to this and it worked beautifully! The scabs are gone and his fur has filled in again. The strong fish smell is a put off for me, but he seems to like it. He always leaves at least a little in/around the bowl, but eats enough that he's healthy.

My cats all turned their noses up at this

    By on

My cats have liked some of the I and Love You (never quite understood the name) products, but this one was a no go. My cat critics have deemed this inedible. Not sure why.

    Love love love it

    By on

My cats had turned into pukers - they loved their old kibble but over time it turned into a messy scarf and barf routine. My vet recommended we try a LID brand and after scoping out a ton of different types of dry cat food, this has been a clear winner. They love the food, texture and kibble size and their coats are super shiny and healthy since switching about 6 months ago. I love the story of the brand, the price point and most importantly, that my little kitties love it so much.
