Not an all time favorite
Anyone who owns an elderly cat has experienced the periods when they are off their food. As one meme writer put it: "Oh, you bought a whole case of my favorite food? Now I can't like it anymore." We will be using up the case in bits because he will eat one portion separated in two servings now and then. When he's not eating I don't even look at ingredients much anymore. Things I would normally consider are out the window. Only animal protein, no legumes and the like? Grain free and no potatoes or other veggies to beef up the calorie count? If he eats it it's a winner. Bad food is better than no food. I do still try to aim for higher calorie foods - I know the vet mantra is low calorie, but with a geriatric non-eating cat that rule changes.
Our boy loves it!
After trying a million foods, we finally found this one at our senior boy loves it. It is very hard because we have two cats and one likes party and the other one likes chunks. But this one hit the jackpot! Just the perfect amount.

I have been buying and donating to local animal control. They say the product is good and the portions make it easy on them to give out.
Finicky babies
Ordered a case because my babies seemed bored with current food. They acted like they loved it so I ordered 4 cases to get me through the month. So what do they do. Turn their noses up. And it’s not cheap. Oh well to local shelter it goes.
My Cat Loves This Food!
My cat begs for this food even when it's not dinner time! Wish the packages were a little easier to open...hard for those of us with arthritic fingers.

Great for small appetites and/or senior cats
My 19 year old cat is a huge fan of chicken but as his quality of life is declining, so is his appetite. I go through 3-4 of these per day because he likes eating small amounts often. The other cats are happy with the leftovers but there's not a huge can leftover like traditional serving sizes. This has a very soft texture to it so it's also easier for him to eat and, if I need to get some liquid in him, softens beautifully with warm water. This has been very helpful to both of us as we're working together in his last hurrah.
Best cat food
I would suggest pet parents order this for their cats instead of the kibble and I will be purchasing this more frequently
Highly recommended
Several months after switching to Iams, portion time is the highlight of our cat's day. The portions are quite difficult to open, but the food inside is fresh, so I won't dock any stars for that.
