Feed Kittens 4 - 7 servings daily. Adjust to maintain ideal body condition.
Introduce the new food gradually. This is the most successful way to ease your cat into the diet change. Start by mixing 25% new food with 75% current food. Slowly change the proportions over the next three days or so by gradually increasing the amount of new food and decreasing the amount of current food. At the end of this weaning process, you should be feeding 100% of the new food. You may encounter difficulties; for example, your cat might choose to eat only the old food, or not eat at all. However, a healthy cat can miss meals for a day or two with no ill effects.
This is the only wet food that my kitten will eat. The texture is spot on. I know that my kitten is getting the nutrients she needs while eating a food she actually enjoys!
I got my 12 week old kitten Marvin on the 17th of February. At the shelter he was at, they were feeding him Science Diet. When I bought him home I slowly transition him to this food and now that he’s fully transitioned to eating this, he loves it! He meows at me every time i put his food down, and tries practically eating the container haha. He is a very happy kitten :)
My 8 month old kitten loves this! He is not an over eater with wet food or kibble. The perfect portions are great, I don't waste food. These are hard to find in my local stores, happy that Chewy has it!
I have been feeding this to my new kittens for the past couple of weeks and they love it.
My baby absolutely loved it. He enjoys it better than Fancy feast kitten. It would take him some time to get around to eatting Fancy feast kitten but Iams he actually goes to his bowl to let us know he is ready to eat. Never did that with Fancy feast and he had been eatting it for 2 months before the change. I also like the fact that Iams has no by product in it. So it is healthier for kittens.
We have a litter of siamese kittens & they all enjoy this pate formula. We tried the chicken bits in gravy formula (I bought it on accident- similar packing) and they definitely prefer the pate. Makes feeding time quick and easy and apparently tasty.
All my cats like this, not just kittens. The vet said it was Okay for all cats not just kittens.
I have two of the most finicky little stinkers. They will eat and like a food one day and then will turn up their noses. Twitheads! And it's too food!
The first time I bought these they were great although the lids were a little difficult to peel off. The second time I purchased these the lids were so hard to peel off I had to use pliers. This is not Chewy's fault but it is Iams' issue. Other than that my kitten loves them and I wish they came in more flavors for her.
Recommended by their vet, my two little foster-fail kitties love this stuff. They're good eaters anyway, but when this hits their pans, they can't wait to gobble it down!
