A Work In Progress
I received a bag of Iams Healthy Enjoyment Adult Dry Cat Food Chicken and Beef recipe in exchange for a review. I am keeping an open mind, because my cat will eat the food. However, I am concerned about some of the ingredients listed such as caramel color, salt, meat by products. I also would like to see a higher protein content as opposed to carbohydrates. I do like that the kibble is crunchy and has vitamins and probiotics for tooth and digestive health.

I feed my kitties Iams as their regular cat food and have been doing so for years. I received this Iams Proactive Health Healthy Enjoyment Chicken & Beef recipe as a FREE sample in exchange for my honest opinion, and honestly, my cats LOVE it. I pulled the bag out of the shipping box and they tried to tear into it and help themselves. Since this was right before bed I decided to put the bag back in the box and turn it over so they couldn't rip into the bag. The next morning the box was full of holes in all the places they tried to eat their way in. They love this food so much we can feed it to them like we do treats. This is actually a really nice situation since we have a kitty who is a bit of a chonk. Now we can feel like she's treating herself but know that we are giving her something healthy that doesn't have empty calories.

My cat gets a mix of wet and dry food. Sometimes she turns her nose up at the wet and I will sprinkle a few bits of dry into the bowl. I was nervous that she wouldn't like a new dry food in her bowl so I mixed a few pieces in her bowl with her normal dry - no problem. She ate everything. I received a free sample of Proactive Health Healthy Enjoyment Immune Support Chicken & Beef Adult Dry Cat Food in exchange for my honest review and would certainly buy now after she ate it all. Iams is a brand I trust to have better ingredients for my cat. When she first came home with me - I had to mix in better quality food with her previous brand to transition, she had terrible gas (silent but deadly) and the odor of her poop was very pungent. Better quality ingredients equal better quality of life for your cat and also your nose.
Both girls loved it!
I was sent a free sample of the Chicken and Beef flavored Iams Healthy Enjoyment food for my cats to try. They get both wet and dry food typically. I opened the bag and gave them each a little handful to try. They both sucked it down, so I gave them more. They have eaten the whole 3lb bag in a week and a half! I fill the bowl and both come running for it. I left their old food nearby at first in case they changed their minds, but they haven't touched it. It's pricer than what they get now, but it is clear how much more they like it. They poop better too!
My cats didn't care for it
I received a FREE sample of this product to try for my 3 adult cats. The IAMS HEALTHY ENJOYMENT ADULT DRY CAT FOOD CHICKEN & BEEF RECIPE, 3 LB. BAG ended up getting mixed into my cats' regular bag of food just to use it up. When given to my cats on it's own, they didn't eat much of it. When mixed with some of their regular food, they ate around the Iams sample food to get to their regular food. Not sure if it was because of the flavor or the pieces of food are larger than they're used to. They might've gotten used to it if needed but I won't switch from their regular Purina One food to this.
My cat gobbled this up!
My 9 year old Maine Coon cat has been eating the same food since I have had him because he is a picky eater and will not touch new food when I buy it for him. When I received this as a free sample I thought I had nothing to lose since it was free and lo and behold he could not get enough of it. I am excited that I can now give him better quality food that is good for him.
Cats enjoyed to varying degrees
I received a free sample bag of this food in exchange for my honest feedback. I missed some of this into my cats usual dry food and had mixed success. One ate it all right up, seeming to favor this over the rest of his usual food. The other is a little pickier and she seemed to eat around it the first few times. Eventually they both ended up eating it, and I appreciate that this is a better food for them than some others out there, but I think they both still prefer wet food or some bone broth over their usual dry food.

I received a sample of the Iams Proactive Health Healthy Enjoyment Immune Support Chicken & Beef Adult Dry Cat Food. It took my cat a few times of eating it to get used to the bigger morsels. Once she got acclimated to it she has been eating eating it well. My cat loves it!
Great food
I received a FREE sample in exchange for my honest review. My cats liked Iams Proactive Health Healthy Enjoyment Immune Support Chicken & Beef Adult Dry Cat Food and ate it pretty quickly. I love that it doesn't look greasy like other dry foods I've seen. It's grain free, which is also a plus. It has a kind of filling and it sounds crunchy when eaten so it has a variety of textures. So far I recommend it.
Chicken and Beef Recipe
My cat can get pretty picky, but she took right to this Chicken & Beef recipe Iams cat food. She couldn't wait for me to open the bag and feed her some. I love that it has different textures and flavors that she enjoys. I also like that the first ingredient is chicken and also appears to have no dyed colors (yellows, reds and blues) within it. I have always been a fan of Iams and will continue to use this product since my kitty likes it.
