This recipe is complete and balanced for adult dogs. For dog's under 12 months of age, the Iams ProActive Health Smart Puppy Original Dry Dog Food would be a great alternative option.

Stupid Delivery Person

We have been ordering from Chewy for a very long time, years even. We have put signs on our back gate to alert delivery persons. Unfortunately, the most recent weathered away. But seriously, ARE THEY THAT STUPID? They know we only take deliveries at our back door. My husband is 78 and does not need to lift heavy boxes from the front door, which is far from where we store pet items. I painted a VERY LARGE SIGN, IT LOOKS AWFUL, BUT IT CAN BE READ WITH FULL INSTRUCTIONS AGAIN! It makes shopping at Chewy difficult. People don't take care of customers like they used to.

Our dogs LOVE it!

Our 8 Heelers have been on Iams Mini chunks since they graduated to adult food, but lately a couple of them seem to be developing allergies, so we decided to switch to the Lamb and Rice formula. They LOVE it! Too soon to know about the allergy problem, but they love the flavor apparently.

Ridiculously priced.

For food that my dog would barely eat, the price tag is now absurd. Not necessarily Chewy’s fault since the price is pretty much the same at every other retailer and Chewy does have good deals here and there. You generally can find cheaper food with more lbs and better ingredients in if you do a little bit of research. If your dog has allergies, i can maybe see why this is a good choice but the price is really just ridiculous.

Food is good, service not so good

I get it, part of this is my blame. I signed up as a new first time user and and recieved discounts for being a new user and for upgrading to a large bag of food. After I placed the order, I relaized that I had the incorrect address so I immediately called to have it corrected. It was corrected, but I lost both discounts and paid full price. Things happen I know, but it left a bad taste in my mouth. I'll just stick with purchasing dog food locally. I DO receommend the dog food though!

Led to a Skin Infection

Switched my adult dog to this formula due to the mostly positive reviews and her sometimes not wanting to eat Royal Canin. She liked the food and would eat it, but after a few days of being on it she broke out into hives and was severely itching. Her biting and licking led to a skin infection which had to be cleared up with meds. I'm not sure if she could be allergic to some of the fillers or if there was a bad batch, but her Vet said it was likely due to the IAMS. I have since switched her back to Royal Canin and finished the meds, and her skin is great again and fur growing back.

Tucker and Henry approved!!

One of my pups eats anything that isn't nailed down but has issues with beef and chicken. The other is so fussy we believe he might actually be a cat! LOL He also has issues chewing larger kibble. Have feed them both something different for a long while now but this works for both! I love that it's lamb which is so much better for them and in mini chunks. This has saved me time, money and sanity by being able to feed them both the same thing! Thank you Iams!

i need help

my last order was for iams lamb and rice dog food. the new packaging is 38 pounds per bag. that size tested my ability to get them in my dog food bins. plus i have to use a hand truck to get them to my carport. can you get me smaller bags?

Dogs won't eat

I have 4 papillons and was looking for a small lamb kibble. Unfortunately, none of my dogs wanted to eat the new food. Kibbles are mini but are still larger than the food they are used to. Gave bag to my neighbors dog - he likes it!!!

IAMS dry dog food

Our two dogs will not eat this dry dog food. I've tried so many other name brands and they will not eat for two days. When they do eat dry food, they go outside eat grass and then vomit. It seems that all dry dog foods do this to them. I can't find a dry dog food that they will eat. We have spent so much money on dry food. I feed them a can of canned food once a week as a supplement to the dry. I don't know what to feed them anymore.
