  • Lifesaving Food

My Service Dog is 12 years old and has been a true lifesaver for me as he is a medical alert dog. His job has been stressful for him, and has been plagued with minor bouts of IBS throughout his life. More recently he had some terrible bouts with IBS that put him on some heavy duty medication for several months, each time he went off the meds it seemed to get worse. My vet suggested I put him on some food that had no grain, and suggested Iams which I hesitated to do as I had fed my dogs another top brand for 70 years that was marketed as the #1 food prescribed by veterinarians and they had all done well. However, with my dogs last bout, I reluctantly purchased IAMS Salmon, grain free. I must My Service Dog is 12 years old and has been a true lifesaver for me as he is a medical alert dog. However, with my dogs last bout, I reluctantly purchased IAMS Salmon, grain free. I must admit that my apartment smelled like fish when the bag was opened. My dog LOVED the salmon and after he got transferred to the new food and on it a couple of weeks, he went off the medication. That has been several months and he has not had a problem with IBS since...and he LOVES the food. His coat is softer and silkier, his eyes brighter (he is a cocker spaniel), and he acts like a puppy now, and with the fish, it seems to have helped his joints as he is not as stiff getting up or down. I was so worried about him and his health, but now he is doing great...thanks to a good, wise vet and IAMS. … more

  • Unbelievable

You said that I would receive the dog food in 24 hours. I said to myself sure like that will happen. I ordered on a Monday evening and had it on my door step before 4 pm. Was I surprised, great service and I will use you again. Thanks and my dog loves the food and she doesn't seem to itch as much.

  • GREAT FOR ALLERGY DOGS

    By on

My dog was breaking out on his last food so I tried to search for something that is reasonably priced and will help clear up his skin.. I filtered out the options on chewy.com down to, skin sensitive, soy free, grain free .. and this came up. He’s been on it for about 2 weeks and he isn’t 100% but his skin is clearing up! He loves the taste too! I paired it up with the omegas too

  • Senior dog

Our canine baby is nearly 12 and has developed some skin and stomach sensitivities. Not only have we seen improvement with less itchy skin discomfort, she loves the food. She used to pick over her bowl and was not very enthusiastic about meal time, but now she waits for her bowl with a wagging tail and eats the entire serving immediately.

  • It Works for My Dog

    By on

My dog was having ongoing digestive issues, and my vet recommended trying Iams Sensitive Stomach kibble. I am now feeding my dog only this, for both meals and treats. It is a good thing he loves it! It is also a good that the digestive issues are much improved.

  • JJ loves it!

My Jack Russell JJ, loves this Iams for sensitive stomach. She’s had several bouts of colitis so I decided to try this and she jumps up and down when it’s time to eat. I was leery about the salmon but she loves it and she’s had no more colitis since. I highly recommend it.

  • Jake loves it!

Our 82 pound Lab/Boxer/Pit mix got bored with his dog food. So we decided to try something new. He loves it! No tummy upsets and no skin problems. We recommend Chewy to everyone. They are simply the best. Quick service and much better prices than the local brand name pet supply store. Thank you Chewy!
