Our dog loves these and we love how many we get in a bag. However, we have found fin bones folded into these skins. They are so thin and we worry they can lodge in our dogs throat or stomach and create serious issues. So we have to inspect before we give it to her. If someone could prove to me I don't need to worry about it, I would give this product 5 stars. But for now I will give 3.
Good treats, my dog loves them. But considering what they are, just dried out fish skins they are way too expensive. Price per pound is more than what the whole fish would’ve cost
these are choking hazards for dogs. the pieces are not dried enough to be crunchy and easily broken. they are these large pieces of flat skins very similar to bovine leather. these pieces do not dissolve easily and can obstruct the dog's trachea.
Both dogs and cats loved this product. Need to order more.
my girls absolutely love these . there fur is nice and shiny and there's no additives like food coloring or fatty byproducts . I feel good about giving them a healthy treat.
Bring the fish market to your house! Sure does bring back some fishing memories. While they do smell, I can't deny how much my dogs love them. They get super excited any time they see me bring out the container with them. I did keep them in their bag, but we have a voracious 11 week old german shepherd that is a fat boy and decided to go snacking on his own. Both Mowgli and Nahiri will sit quietly next to each other and happily chew on these until they're gone. Apparently, they're human approved too. My husband took a lick and said while it's salty, they aren't bad!
Our puppy is in the chewing (and sometimes nipping) stage and we give him a piece of this and he goes crazy. He carries them around and then lays down and chews on them. Some of the pieces were a bit big for him, but I cut them with a kitchen cooking scissor.
