    Molly Approved

By MollysMommy on Oct 6, 2021

My kitty Molly is 18 yo and has heart and kidney disease. Her dad and I started giving her fluids about 2 months ago from vet recommendation. So far we have gotten 4 bags of the fluids from chewy and so far all bags have been good to go. Same type our vet uses and seems to be good all around so far. I buy it along with the tubing from here and haven't had any issues. If you're new to giving a cat fluids, I suggest getting some Hartz Squeeze Up treats (or something similar, this is just Molly's favorite.) We heat up her fluids by placing the bag in a bucket of hot water. When they're warmed, we hang her fluids on a coat hanger from the closet door. We put a towel on the floor where we give it to her in case of any spills and put Molly on it. (Molly's dad calls it her "poke a kitty" towel) I get her prepared and put the needle in her while my boyfriend starts feeding her a squeeze up treat. She loves these treats and doesn't notice or just doesn't care that she's getting poked because she's getting a yummy treat. We slowly squeeze feed her the treat directly from the tube while she receives her fluids and she has no problem with it. When we're done I clamp the tube, pull out the needle, and pet her because she's a good girl. She actually enjoys it so much now (because she loves the treat) that if we put the towel down while her fluids are still warming, she'll wait on the towel for us to come give her fluids. Chewy makes it really easy for us to get everything we need for her fluids. I get her treats, other medications, food, fluids, and the tubing all from chewy. The only thing I get from elsewhere is her litter and I get the needles somewhere else because I can't find the right length on here. … more

    Needed product arrived vandalized

By Dogwhisperer on Feb 12, 2021

I needed these IVs and ordered a case (12). The box arrived opened and not resealed, just closed and missing one ringer. The cost is double the cost at Costco
