It’s not what I was hoping for but it may work for other dogs

My one dog is a digger, he has made holes in mattresses and basically all of our fitted sheets have holes from Squish’s digging. I was really hoping this toy would help him satisfy his desire to dig, but he wasn’t interested. I don’t think that the design is really made to satisfy digging, it’s more of a treat puzzle. I’ve had dogs that would enjoy sniffing out the treats in the folds, but I don’t see how it could get a dog to really dig as it advertises.

Fun, not as durable as I hoped

My small breed puppy "digs" this toy! The fabric of the mat (great) and the flaps is different than the fabric of the cup part (not great). The cup is very torn up in just a few days. Also the connectors and those bases are not durable and she has torn out several of them.

my dog "digs" it!

My dog loves when I bring this out. He loves to paw at it and try to find the treats inside. I learned that crunchier treats work best for us. Less mess. But I also learned how easy it is to clean the flaps. They wash up great! We've only had it a few weeks, and have only used it about once or twice a week, but it is very sturdy and has stood up to our 5 month-old Corgi's digging, biting and pulling. I recommend it!

tough love

chloe took about a day to fully attack this toy..it shows no signs of wear despite hours of digging and tugging...it has helped her get some recreation in an apartment in upstate ny when her senior owner cant be outdoors and is amazingly durable

I wish the inner pockets closed too

He has a lot of fun with it, but the inner pockets are so big and don’t clothes that it’s too easy for him to get his toys. But he does love it. It’s kind of a hassle to fill in that I have to hide in a closet or something because he really gets anxious to get it!

iFetch is awesome!

Our 6 month old puppy LOVES this toy! She has tons of energy and this keeps her very occupied just with her kibble hidden in all the different pockets. She didn't dig right away (the instructions even say to give it some time) but has started to get the hang of it after a few days. This is a pretty pricy toy but has absolutely been worth it for us in our little apartment feat. a puppy with big energy

I ate it up

Rogue: “ I was able to put tears in that toy within 10 minutes because I was so excited.” Maybe a lighter chewer would have better luck.

Didn't work out.

Nice idea, but our dog uses his mouth too much and chewed it up quickly.

HRH just had to have another enrichment toy

For a few months, I debated getting this for her. It’s the price. No dog needs this, but she sure enjoyed it. She’s getting really good at feeder toys and puzzles. This one is different in that she has to dig down and into the layers to get the food. I used her kibble and some freeze-dried chicken. She loved it. Each layer has a pocket to stuff treats, food, or toys in. The paw print on top is actually 2 pockets. One of the layers has a mesh insert. This toy kept her occupied for much longer than her snuggle mat. I still recommend supervising the pups while they find all of the goodies. I got this one because it folds up. To me, it’s good for those of us who don’t have a lot of storage space. In my opinion, the the manufacturer sets the price too high. However, the material seems sturdy and I don’t regret buying it for her.

Ummmm...yeah this here thingy is as advertised..buy it.

Libby is a 5 year old 20lbs Beagle/Rat Terrier who loves to explore, run and dig. I live in an apartment so this has been a fantastic purchase entirely worth every penny. Libs was skittish at first and I had to coach her a little bit...she almost ran and jumped out the window she was so scared. But no...I saved her. It only took that initial 1st time, and now...4 weeks later she loves it. 15 minutes is about what it takes her to dig and finish. Good mental stimulation. Easy to fold up and store/wash. The material is durable. We've used it about 15 times, washed it once. Looks brand new. Will be fantastic for a Minnesota winter.
